Solar Eclipse at Dawn in Australia - 14 November 2012

While there are many solar eclipses, there are just a few total solar eclipses. One of these - 13 November 2012 - 14 November 2012 in Australia - is imminent. Doves’ letters have already mentioned this, so I would just like to add some extra thoughts on these eclipses. Luis Vega has done some remarkable charting of solar and lunar eclipses. In this letter I focus on five total solar eclipses between 2012 and 2017, while recognising that there are several (important) partial eclipses in this period. By year, the total solar eclipses are as follows:
2012: 13 November (14 November in Australia)
2013: 3 November (hybrid - starts briefly as annular, quickly becomes total)
2014: None
2015: 20 March (on Adar 29 - eve of Nissan 1)
2016: 9 March (also on Adar 29 - eve of Nissan 1)
2017: 21 August
2018: None
Solar Eclipse at Dawn in Australia - 14 November 2012
This eclipse starts at dawn in the very north of Australia, passing over Cairns then, narrowly missing Norfolk Island, the track manages to cross the Pacific without making landfall anywhere (http://www.shindles.co.uk/eclipse.htm). Wikipedia notes that the most populous city to experience totality will be Cairns, which will experience 2 minutes of totality just an hour after daybreak.
Could this eclipse be a fulfilment of Isaiah 13:10? From an Australian point of view, could this herald the imminent outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon all flesh, a revival that would usher in God’s Eternal, end-time purposes for His Church and the Rapture? There have been many prophetic voices that have seen Australia being pivotal in this end-time revival. The name itself is the Great Southland of the Holy Spirit!
Eclipses are often harbingers, or ominous signs of what has happened, or is about to happen. While Australia has fared quite well during the global financial crisis, economic and social difficulties and (more) natural disasters may lie ahead to birth God’s purposes, especially in the unfolding of the Day of the Lord. It is telling that rains (the very symbol of the Noahic judgment) is contained within Cairns! And C in Roman numerals is Centum/Century - how often do we hear, for example, floods of the century or of Biblical proportions? There is even a hint of the Rapture - CAIRns - we will be caught up to meet Him in the AIR.
Looking back we can see just how important this eclipse at dawn is. In 2008 (1 August), 2009 (22 July) and in 2010 (11 July) there were three consecutive total solar eclipses - each one fell on 1 Av on the Jewish calendar! The odds on this happening are, to use the appropriate term, astronomical!!!! Now if we take the Noah pattern of going into the Ark, going back out and then re-entering seven days later (on the eighth day), these warning eclipses all point to Av 8 or the Eve of Destruction (Av 9 is the date when the two temples were destroyed!) The 22 July 2009 eclipse was at dawn and I wrote a previous letter on this on 15July - I have included excerpts from this letter below.

Solar Eclipse - 3 November 2013 (zero-zero!)

This eclipse is quite unique, as the information from the above link shows, and precedes a year (2014) with no eclipse. This hybrid solar eclipse will be visible across the Atlantic Ocean and Central Africa. This eclipse will be annular only for a few kilometres at its start - for the remainder it will be a very narrow and short-lasting total eclipse. This eclipse is unusual as its starts annular and ends total, never reverting to annularity. This eclipse also has the unusual property in that it is total at the crossing of the Equator and the Greenwich Meridian (0° lat, 0° long). In the 5000 years from -1999 to +3000 there are just 15 total eclipses that pass through location "zero-zero". The last total was 16 March 1466, the next one will be on 3 June 2114.

On 11 August 2012 I sent a letter highlighting the total solar eclipse on 21 August 2017 and links to the United States (link above). According to reports tropical storm/hurricane Isaac formed ten days later on 21 August 2012, and made landfall on 29 August 2012 - exactly and remarkably seven years to the day that Katrina made landfall. There were links Hurricane Katrina and United States support for removal of Israeli residents in Gaza, and also to the Southern Decadence festival in New Orleans (see link below). There is also a link to Rosh Hashanah 2012 - moving forward five prophetic (360 day) years takes you close to the eclipse date of 21 August 2017.

There is one other important aspect of the timing of Hurricane Isaac - the start of the Republican Convention was delayed. From a Christian perspective, Mitt Romney and the Republican Party is a clear preference, especially on moral issues. As a Mormon, Mitt Romney holds to and promotes many Christian values. However, it needs to be remembered that Mormons do not believe that Jesus Christ is the unique Son of God. Hurricane Isaac is a reminder of this - Isaac is the unique son of promise, the Heir. Nevertheless, the perfect government of Jesus Christ is on the horizon!

The eclipse on 22 July 2009 takes a very interesting twist when you discover that it starts at dawn (at the rising of the Sun) - see note from hermit.org below. The total eclipse begins at local dawn! Isaiah 13:10 clearly refers to a darkening of the Sun - at its rising! Could this be the long ago prophesied eclipse that will herald the Day of the Lord! Remember, the eclipse date of 22 July 2009 may be a precursor to imminent events 9 3 - the day itself may or may not be cataclysmic. 60 day gap in 2008, 2009 and 2010
In my musings on eclipses my mind tracked its way to the three total solar eclipses in 2008, 2009 and 2010. There is something very interesting in these three total solar eclipses - each one is 60 days before Rosh Hashanah (as summarised in the table below). What is also important is that there are no total solar eclipses in the surrounding years - 2007 and 2011. One is past, one is imminent and one is yet to come.
One is past: (30 September 2008) The Dow fall on 29 September 2008 (the eve of Rosh Hashanah) was the catalyst for what is probably the greatest collapse in world wealth in history, and consequential geo-political changes - that are still gathering pace! One is imminent: (19-29 September 2009) what must the once in a century 22 July 2009 eclipse foreshadow? Rapture or revival? Birth pangs get stronger and more frequent as the birth draws near! Whatever is ahead will shake the entire Earth!! Events leading up to Rosh Hashanah are likely to be increasingly dramatic – as the invisible hand of God becomes more visible!
The solar eclipse of 22 July 2009 is the longest total solar eclipse that will occur in the twenty-first century, and will not be surpassed in duration until June 13, 2132. Totality will last for up to 6 minutes and 39 seconds.
