Gino - thank you for bringing this up and making us really think about the issue - from an emotional, physical and mental aspect. Your post linked below. I know, from a Biblical standpoint, that abortion is murder. No question. However, the waters get muddied when the pregnancy is the result of violent rape. For example - If I had been one of the Genesis era women who had been raped by a fallen angel, I would have chosen abortion over any other option. Or - if I had been raped by an obviously demonic criminal - I would NOT want to give birth to his baby. Full Stop. Would Almighty God want us to bring this progeny into the world? I think not. To really press home my point - would I give birth to Hitler's baby - because of the ' sanctity of life' belief? SHUDDER.
Scripture is replete with stories of how Almighty God urges Israel to kill and annihilate all men, women, children and animals in the Gaza Strip - see the Book of Samuel. We are to be guardians against ALL evil entering the world. Almighty God EMPHASISES the eradication of ALL evil in whatever form it represents itself. A very hard truth for most to comprehend.
Saying that - the wholesale abortion extravaganza going on in the USA is demonic. So-called Planned Parenthood does nothing but make money out of abortion clinics. There is no excuse for all these abortions as a money making industry. Planned Parenthood should be about taking precautions against unwanted pregnancy. Educating people against unwanted pregnancies. Urging us all and educating us all not to be promiscuous. Not just supplying the murderous solution. The mainstream media (and governments) perpetuate the sexual extravaganza that is now part of our everyday lives. Porn, porn and more porn, everywhere. Free love and sexual wantonness. It's demonic. It's not how the majority of humans behave. I don't care how much the media portray us as 'sex mad'. Absolute rubbish! We're far too lazy to be 'at it' all of the time.
It's also good to note that Almighty God is always fully in control. When it's our time to die - we die. Whether that is in the womb or when we are old and grey. It's about the motive behind the killing of the unborn that is disgusting. Those aborted babies return to where they belong. Either with Almighty God or elsewhere. Much like climate change - ordinary humans are NOT in control of what happens to our world. Almighty God sees us when we are being formed in the womb. Whether those abortions are just or unjust, is up to Him. He knows the human heart - knows all our thoughts. He knows our motives. This world we inhabit is a nursery school. We are in the kindergarten of the universe. We have so very much to learn in the future. A future without evil. Without murder. Without blood and guts violence.
But - it's a good thing to question and ponder these things.
