RE:
Fay: 10.13.24: further interesting
questions
which was about giants in
which you stated the following:
"The
other thing you brought up is
whether the giants were born
gigantic, where the mothers died
in childbirth.
That is
a frightening thought.
If that
was the case, I would have to
agree with you, no other women
would want that.
However,
if they were born normal size,
then it could be possible that
they had more children.
Then
there is another question, could
a normal sized woman have
children with a giant?"
If a
giant was born normal size, it wouldn't
be called a giant. If a woman was the
size of a grasshopper in comparison to a
giant the height of a 40 ft. to 60 ft.
cedar tree, I think it would be
impossible for them to have children
together. I also think it would be
impossible for a normal sized woman 5
ft. to 6 ft. to have children with a 40
ft. to 60 ft. male giant as all his body
parts would be much larger as well.
Below are the verses about the
'grasshoppers' and 'the height of a
cedar tree.'
Numbers 13:33
says, "And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which
come of the giants: and we were in our
own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in
their sight."
And Amos 2:9 says, "Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose
height was like the
height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I
destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath."
I do remember reading a
long time ago about a woman bearing
a giant's child and she died giving
birth because it ripped her apart
like Fay mentioned, but I am not
sure where I read it. I
thought it was Josephus, but I can't
now find the article.
