Of course as children of God (sons and daughters) he chastens us from time to time, otherwise we are NOT His children - I know that, okay?  

 

I was saying in my post that this is not some "punishment" that we have to endure to become ELIGIBLE to make the rapture. There is daylight and darkness between what you are saying and what I am talking about --as far as going UP in the rapture. Thousands of Christians have already died who rise

BEFORE those still alive at the rapture, many of which had to go through no

sort of "chastening" to make the rapture!
