That is a powerful thought.

Revelation 11:2c  and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

Will that be by the armies that previously compassed Jerusalem?

Will the antichrist's claiming to be God, be the trigger point for all that?

Jerusalem is trodden under foot by the Gentiles, the antichrist is apparently mortally wounded and apparently comes back, and the two witnesses show up?

As well as the Jews in Judea fleeing into the wilderness?

And all these things during a time of 3½ years?
