It’s a metaphor (Grk. Phago)
for being
‘consumed’ by fire!(cf.
Dan. 7:5 ‘devour much
flesh’ and Dan. 7:7 ‘devouring’)

17:7‒10 the riddle) has been worded in such an enigmatic and
convoluted fashion
that the mystery about the idolatrous woman andher
relationship with the beast could not correctly be ascribed
to a great ‘city’
― that dominates
kings and multitudes of people in the end-time,
which sits on the accrued ‘heads’ of the beast that
is now
located in the wilderness―until the beast’sexistence
via the dual SUNNIseventh ‘head’
had been fulfilled in history! Only now, after the SUNNIOttoman
and ISIS [x 2] Caliphates
have been recognised as the dual seventh ‘head’
on the
beast during these latter days of the New
Testament age, has Mystery
Babylon,the great idolatrous citybeen identified
as Mecca.

Until now, Mystery Babylon’s
existence in the
wilderness as a great City ―the primary
source of opposition
to the people of God, both Jews and Christians since the
7th
Century ― has been hidden from non-Muslims’ attention via her
alias, because
only Muslims are granted entrance into that hallowed city
containing the
‘throne’ of the beast. But, it is from this wilderness
source that
Islamist zealots and devotees belonging to the seventh ‘head’
on the
beast, have literally been at war with Yahweh God
and His people for 14
centuries. Jews and Christians (i.e., ...my people...)
will therefore need to
heed the warningsgiven in
the Bible for the latter days,to
stay far away from Babylon the greatand her idolatrousinfluence.
Babylon’s immorality, corruption, rampant materialism,
rebellion, and
idolatrous opposition to Yahweh God will be punished, because
Islam and
other idolatrous
religions have for centuries been targeting and slaughtering the people of God (Rev. 17:6;
18:24; 19:2). Therefore,
she is about to be dealt her first judgment via the ten horn
rebels (by the will
and word of God, Rev. 17:16‒17), and anyone in her
vicinity will be in
danger from the ‘fall-out’ (Cf. the 6th Seal,
nuclear attack, Rev.
6:12‒17; 14:8). Merchants and traders all stand at a distance
(Rev. 18:4, 10,
14, 17), lest they
receive her plagues, and
for fear of her torment.
After Babylon’s fall,
her ruins will
metaphorically become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for
every foul spirit, and
a cage for every unclean and hated bird!(Rev. 18:2)
‘Come
out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and
lest you receive of
her plagues... [that] will
come in one day ― death and mourning and famine. And
she will be utterly
burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her.
(Rev. 18:4, 8;
cf. 14:8)
To
achieve this
result, God is going to ‘put’ a
‘thought or two’ into the
hearts of rebellious jihadists ― aka the ten horns, whose
focus is briefly
diverted to hate the harlot ― which provokes them to
take hasty action
against the harlot and make the great citydesolate and naked; even as her considerable
substance ‘flesh’ is
‘eaten’ (Strong’s Grk. word No. 5315 phago
meaning ‘consumed’) by
fire! (Cf. Dan. 7:5 ‘devour
much flesh’
and Dan. 7:7 ‘devouring’
and ‘trampling’
metaphors describing the incorporating of one kingdom into
another.) The
stripping away of the great city’s façade of
elegance, wealth and royalty,
by burning her with fire puts a sudden end to her deceit
and arrogance,
after posing for centuries in the wilderness
as the supposedly
innocent (non-idolatrous) spiritual counterpart of theend-time Islamistbeast
that was empowered by the dragon. (Rev. 17:16‒17; 18:5‒8, 24;
19:1‒3)
Accordingly,
because
this idolatrous harlot woman
has sat on every
‘head’mountain
or kingdom since Babel, her sins have
stacked up layer-upon-layer
until they have reached to heaven; but God has
remembered her iniquities
(Rev. 18:5) and the responsibility for her
destruction has been
’justly’ delegated to jihadist rebels from among the eighthalliance
of SHIA-inspired Islamists. (Rev. 17:11‒13,
16‒17) Thus, the
same voice from heaven, which cried out... ‘Come out of her my
people...‘ alsoinstructed
them:
Render to her just as
she rendered to you,
and repay her double according to her works; in the cup
which she has mixed,
mix double for her. In the measure that she glorified
herself and lived
luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and
sorrow; for she says in
her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not
see sorrow.’ Therefore her plagues
will come in one day― death and mourning and
famine. And she
will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God
who judges her.
