Rev. 17:16 says, "And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire." Rev. 17:18, "And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth."
Do the 10 kings actually eat the flesh of those residing in the city of Mystery Babylon (the Vatican City?) if she turns in order to gain her power of reigning over the kings of the Earth because they want her power to reign and rule over the Earth themselves? In ancient pagan times, the flesh of the enemy was eaten to gain power just like in modern times people eat the flesh and drink the blood of children and innocent victims during satanic rituals to gain power fromSatan. We don't know if the flesh of those living in the city of Mystery Babylon will be actually be eaten or not. However, we do know that the 10 kings hate her and will burn her with fire. Perhaps making her desolate and naked with her flesh being eaten indicates that nothing will be left of her after she is burned in one hour. She will be stripped of all the buildings and people dwelling in her.Rev. 18:8-10, "Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. And the kings of the earth who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning. Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city ofBabylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come."
