This is in reply to your 5/18 post Why does it say that they repented not? to answer some of your questions.

John 10:35 says, "scripture cannot be broken" means all these punishments in the book of Revelation is the way that the Lord planned it, and "they repented not" is what is going to happen.  I don't know if they repented not because they are somehow programmed by the mark of the beast not to repent, or that the Lord knows in advance of everyone who won't repent so that is how the scriptures are worded in the book of Revelation.

As I understand it, those worshipping the beast and taking the mark of the beast in the forehead or in the right hand are first punished by the 7 vials or bowls of God's wrath poured out before they are tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the Lord and His angels, and they get no rest day or night.
