"Why does it say that they repented not?"

There is eternal wrath by torment of fire and brimstone upon those who worship the beast and receive his mark:

Revelation 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

So, is the wrath of God, in this case, for them, for when they will be in the lake of fire?

Yet, will there not be seven vials of wrath poured upon the earth, while the people will be still alive?

The 1st vial brings sores upon those who had the mark of the beast.

Revelation 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

They are not killed by the wrath of the first vial, but suffer because of the sore, however, doesn't the wrath with extreme torment come after they are in the lake of fire?

The fifth vial of the wrath of God upon the earth, leads to darkness upon the kingdom of the beast, and doesn't it apparently affect many with the mark, there?

Revelation 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

Yet, they are not killed by the wrath of the fifth vial, but suffer.

But then it says:

Revelation 16:11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

So why are they not killed yet, but it says they repented not?

Is the LORD possibly giving them an opportunity to repent?

What if some, a few, do repent?

Will they be forgiven?

But, if there is no chance for them to repent, then why the sore & darkness while they still live?

Why are they not killed outright, and immediately go the wrath of God in the fire and brimstone?

And if there is no chance to repent for them, why does it say that they repented not?
