Thank you for pointing out in your 5/04 post Donna Danna: "The Similarities Between The Millenium Temple & New Jerusalem" Letter that there will be 12 gates to Jerusalem during the Millenium period  which will be named after the 12 tribes of Israel (Ezekiel 48:31-34) just like there will be 12 gates to New Jerusalem named after the 12 tribes of Israel (Rev. 21:12).   Here is an article that gives the names of 12 gates of Jerusalem when they all existed in the past The Twelve Gates of Jerusalem - Appendix to the Companion Bible

The gates of the ancient city of Jerusalem were closed on Sabbath days which always began on the eve or sunset of the day before according to Nehemiah 13:19, and the temple gates were closed at night according to an article at Jerusalem (New Jerusalem – Its Gates Shall not be Shut) – Berean Bible Studies while the 12 gates of New Jerusalem will be open all day and there is no night there (Rev. 21:25).

Although the gates of Jerusalem named after the 12 tribes of Israel during the Millenium are not pearls, the 12 gates of New Jerusalem are all single pearls according to Rev. 21:21, "And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass." They must be huge.

It reminds of me of "the one pearl of great price" in Matthew 13:46 who was the Lord Jesus who paid a great price for our sins by dying on the cross for them so that we might ask for forgiveness of our sins.
