You made some good points in your 5/04 post an earlier destruction of Mystery, Babylon?

In addition to what you said I would also like to point out that according to Rev. 16:12-16, it was during the 6th vial of wrath being poured out by the 6th angel on the Euphrates River to dry it up that the unclean spirits came out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast (AC) and the False Prophet.  These unclean spirits went forth working miracles to the kings of the earth & the whole world to gather them together to Armageddon. Then in Rev. 16:17-21, the 7th angel pours out the 7th vial of wrath after which there is "a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great." At which time the great city of Babylon is divided into 3 parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Every island fled away & the mountains were not found, and a great hail falls on men, every stone that is the weight of a talent (about 75 to 100 lbs. each.) Since Babylon is divided into 3 parts, does that mean that Babylon's buildings fell down along with all the buildings in the cities of the world when they fell or was the city of Babylon destroyed previously by fire (a nuclear bomb?)?  This great earthquake reminds me of the battle of Gog & Magog in Ezekiel 38:19-23 in which there is a great shaking in the land of Israel when every living creature on earth including mankind shall shake at God's presence and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places fall and every wall shall fall down. And God sends down an overflowing rain and GREAT hailstones, fire & brimstone.  My point being if the city of Babylon has already fallen down during this great earthquake of Rev. 16:17-21, then what would be the point of the ten kings then burning it down in Rev. 17:16-18? Underground natural gas pipelines would break during an earthquake and set the city on fire in Rome if Mystery Babylon is in Rome. The map at this link shows gas pipelines at Italy, Switzerland and Austria Pipelines map - Crude Oil (petroleum) pipelines - Natural Gas pipelines - Products pipelines show gas pipelines E23 & E29 ending in Rome.  

Will some type of bomb with radiation destroy Mystery Babylon because the kings of the earth, who committed fornication with her (Rev. 18: 9-10), and the merchants of the earth who sold things to her stand afar off for the fear of her torment (Rev. 18:15.)  I looked up "what does standing afar off for the fear of her torment" mean, and below is what I found:

 "The phrase "standing afar off for the fear of her torment" refers to people who are afraid to approach or help a city that is being destroyed. They are hesitant to share in the fate of the city or to face the consequences of its downfall."  Who would want to go into a city destroyed by radiation to help? A person would be fearful of dying by radiation.

Then we get to Rev. 18:21 which says, "And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all." So would that then mean when the city of Babylon is divided into 3 parts during the great earthquake all over the earth when the cities fell in Rev. 16:17-21 that it is just the remaining land, which once held the city of Babylon, that is divided into 3 parts since the city itself may have already been destroyed previously by fire (a nuclear bomb?) that leaves a hole in the ground since it is not found any more?
