This book was published in America in 2017, focussing on the rise of the Sunni Islamic State (ISIS, 2014–2017), but its truths can be emphatically applied to Islamist Shia Iran (and its Sunni proxy Hamas), whose intention—to rule the nations under Islamic Sharia Law—is a proven fact! I have highlighted and bolded the most relevant sections, with a bio of Muhammad, and a history about the return of radical Islamism in our day.

Sharia’s ‘Trojan Horse’ has ‘blown-its-cover’ in American Universities

The secretive, unassimilated and destabilising influencers, whose Islamist dogmas have been simmering away for decades within the upper echelons of America’s educational establishments have been well and truly exposed to public scrutiny at last: following the Students for Palestine Resistance encampments on the grounds of numerous—supposedly hallowed—higher learning centres across America, throwing them into chaos! Now it appears that the so called ‘peaceful resistance’ demonstrations to ‘free Palestine’ (enthusiastically carried out by ignorant and deluded, but useful young idiots), purportedly to show solidarity with Palestinians who are suffering in Gaza, were intentionally designed to rally support for Hamas; hence the demonstrations were accompanied by in-your-face anti-Semitic belligerence, insolence, intolerance and raw hatred, against Jews and western democracy!

By using masked proxies (to do their dirty-work in these demonstrations), the hall-mark of Iranian terrorism is written all over them! These students have obviously been indoctrinated, organised, directed and funded by anti-Semitic, Islamist leaning influencers and Muslim immigrants who are sympathetic to Hamas, Iran and its Axis of Resistance terrorist NTO’s. Their aims are to disenfranchise the Jews and the Nation of Israel, deter American support for Israel (via BDS: Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions), and sway the US national youth psyche to support Iran’s agenda: Death to Israel, Death to America! Hopefully, now that the cover-has-been-blown off their Trojan horse, America’s latent leadership might wake up to the enemy they have brought inside the gates!

But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. (Luke 21:34–35)

When Islamic Studies Degrees and Diplomas for Activism forge the twin prongs on the intellectual fork feeding those historically-ignorant activists, i.e., socially pampered, lawless and undisciplined girls and boys who believe they are heroes—by boldly posting their ‘resistance’ (to what!) on Social Media—surely chaos will erupt… and anarchy will follow…   

My prayer for them is that in the cold-light of prosecution they might feel remorse and disgrace, and submit their lives to Yahweh!

CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO

“Babylon the Great’s” supremacist ideology –

Before we continue, perhaps the question should be asked: has the supremacist legacy that pervaded ancient Babel and Babylon as capital of the Babylonian, Persian and Grecian Empires in Old Testament times, since advanced via Rome and the “throne of Satan” in Pergamon, to the German Empire in Berlin, and its WWI ally the Islamic Ottoman Empire, and thereby to the Nazi regime in Europe and to the Islamist Mullahs in the Middle East during WWII, where the rank odour of supremacist ideology and anti-Semitism disguised as anti-Zionism, still circulates today?[i] [ii]

Historically, the alliance that existed between the Nazi regime and Arab Islamists during WWII centred around the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem (Palestinian leader, Haj Amin al-Husseini), who sided with the Axis and held a similar ideology regarding their mutual plans to annihilate the Jewish race during the British mandate period over Palestine between 1922 and 1948.[iii] In this connection, both Adolf Hitler and Heinrich Himmler who were leaders in the Nazi Party admired Islam as a superior religion. Thus the intended Nazi/Islamists’ primary goal (after winning the war) was to establish an anti-Jewish apartheid regime in Palestine; a goal which remains foremost in the minds of radical Islamists today!

Consequently, the greatest threat to the continuing existence of Israel as a nation today, arises from Islamists’ apocalyptic plans to wipe Israel from the map of the Middle East via the jihadist forces of Sunni terrorist groups like Hamas, Army of Islam, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Muslim Brotherhood, Islamic State, Al-Qaeda, Al-Nusra, and Palestinian Intifadas; not to mention the vitriolic outbursts from the Shi’a Mullahs in Iran, and the 100,000 missiles that Hezbollah has ready to fire at Israel from Lebanon![iv] Meanwhile an international undercurrent of anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism is again rising up (via the Boycotts Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement) among pro-Palestinian political groups in Europe and from within the general Muslim populations in the Middle East.

Nevertheless, regardless of what organisation is used, which route is travelled, or the reason for its return; the same insidious God-opposing, Jew-hating, supremacist ideology that sprang forth from ancient Babylon and navigated its way via the “throne of Satan” to Berlin and the Nazi regime’s Islamist alliance in the early 20th century, is now entrenched in the ideology and activities of the revived Islamic State and likeminded radical Islamists in the 21st century. Consequently, modern commentators have noted the similarities between the rise of Nazism during the 1930’s, and the Islamo-fascist supremacist ideology that is being preached by fanatical Imams to their radicalised followers in our own day, who attack Jews, Christians, minority ethnic and religious groups and western culture in order to impose a revived Caliphate and strict Sharia Law across the world.

In the 7th century, a similar supremacist ideology was expounded by Muhammad against the powerful Quraysh merchant tribes in Mecca after they spurned his Qur’anic revelation in the name of Allah, and persecuted him and his followers for preaching against the pantheon of Arabian and Babylonian idols and gods that were kept in the Ka’aba, the ancient idolatrous shrine in Mecca. Following the Hijra in 622, when Muhammad and his followers migrated to Yathrib (Medina) “the city” where he is buried, Muhammad defeated the Meccan tribes at the Battle of Badr [v] and returned to Mecca in 630 to re-establish the Ka’aba and the Sacred Mosque al-Masjid al-Haram, as the holiest shrine in the Islamic world. Muhammad also re-established Mecca as the primary pilgrimage and trading centre for Muslims.[vi] As a result, the city of Mecca became the source of the classical Islamist jihadi ideology that was birthed there, (commanded by Muhammad in the Qur’an, Surah 47:4); and first practiced by the Rashidun Caliphs at the battles of Badr, Uhud, and Trench in the 7th century. Consequently today, the recently modernised and cosmopolitan city of Mecca exerts inconceivable and unsurpassed influence and authority over the 1.6 billion strong Muslim ummah and over the innumerable Muslim princes and “kings of the earth” who are obliged to bow in obeisance five times a day towards Mecca, via the Quibla (the direction to face when Muslims pray), just as they did during the Rashidun Caliphates of old.

In more recent times, the revivification of Islam’s classical Meccan ideology was first attributed to an Islamic theologian and scholar called Ibn Taymiyyah (1263-1328) whose teaching later became the source and inspiration for the Wahhābiyyah traditionalist movement founded by Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Wahhāb from Nejd in central Arabia (1703-1792), who promoted an extreme and pure form of monotheistic Sunni Islamic belief.[vii] In 1744, an alliance between ‘Abd al-Wahhāb and Ibn Sa’ūd (then ruler of the Najd region, who later founded the first Saudi State), resulted in Wahhabism being adopted as the dominant Islamic religious movement by the House of Saud. However, it was not until after the fall of the Hashemite Kingdom of Hejaz to Abdul Aziz ibn Saud in 1925 that the Wahhabi ideology was implemented by the new rulers of Saudi Arabia.

This extreme doctrine teaches that Islam has been weakened by subsequent innovations since the first three generations of Muslims (called Salaf) and therefore the pure observance of Sharia law as prescribed in the Qur’an and the Hadith ought to be restored. To this end, Saudi and Gulf oil revenues have been directed (through generous and gratuitous donations), towards setting up “Islamic studies” departments in educational facilities and universities throughout the world, while donating large sums of money towards influential western enterprises in an effort to spread Salafi teaching and indoctrinate the youth of the nations. As a result it has been estimated that worldwide, there are roughly 50 million Salafists.[viii] [ix]

In a similar manner, the teaching of an Egyptian Imam called Hassan al-Banna (1906-1949)[x] resulted in the establishment of the Muslim Brotherhood as a conservative religious and political organisation in Egypt in 1928. His goals were to end British colonialism in Egypt, encourage Egyptian nationalism, and create a non-secular Caliphate. Around the same time, the Muslim Brotherhood embraced the teaching of Sayyid Qutb (1906-1966),[xi] an Egyptian author and educator, who is viewed by some in the west as the initiator of the revived Qur’anic ideology that inspired Ayman al-Zawahiri to form the Egyptian Islamic Jihad (al Jihad), which later merged with Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda in 1998.

It seems therefore that it is the philosophical Islamic teaching derived from the Qur’an by the above-named Imams, combined with the Muslim Brotherhood and Al-Qaeda’s jihadism and violence, which is being intensified in the volatile political/religious extremist ideology of the Islamic State, today. Together with Islamic State’s more bizarre practices, this extremist ideology emulates the strict and inflexible Sunni Salafist interpretation of the Qur’an and Hadith endemic to Saudi Arabia and Qatar; it espouses offensive violent jihad by celebrating the early Rashidun Caliphates’ territorial expansion; it condemns later Caliphates as deviations, and calls for fatwas against fellow Muslims who support secular governance and democratic principles; labelling them unbelievers, apostates and infidels! These all combine to form the extreme ideology called Sunni Salafism, or by a more derogatory term, Wahhabism.[xii] This revived puritanical Sunni teaching (via its many exponents), insists on a literal interpretation of the Qur’an and a return to the true principles of Islam.

Today this teaching is motivating thousands of multi-ethnic mujahideen from around the world to embark on militant jihad, in support of the revival and expansion of the Islamic State’s radical pseudo-Caliphate. Subsequently, by complying with this hard-line Salafi/Wahhabi teaching and practice, the Islamic State has arrogantly exceeded the violence of the Muslim Brotherhood, Al-Qaeda and Al-Nusra campaigns; making them seem like mere prequels to their own merciless brand of violent jihad. All this, in order to create a fundamentalist pre-apocalyptic Sunni Caliphate under Sharia law, in preparation for the “last hour” or “End of Days”.

[Note: At the time called the “last hour”, traditional Islamist eschatology states that a militant Islamic army carrying the black flags of jihad from Khorasan, led by Imam al-Mahdi, will conquer the Middle East and defeat the crusader army of Rome (i.e. Christian/western forces of U.S.A. and Europe) at a small town in northern Syria called Dabiq.[xiii] The name of this town carries considerable apocalyptic symbolism for Muslims; consequently Islamic State has called its glossy periodical magazine (produced by its al-Hayat Media centre), Dabiq.[xiv] Thus the town of Dabiq is where Islamic State jihadists expect their apocalyptic supremacism over western forces to be demonstrated through a great military victory! According to Islamic opinion, the environs surrounding the town of Dabiq purportedly equate to the site where, in Biblical vernacular, the world’s end-time armies are summoned by demonic spirits to assemble and participate in the decisive battle of Armageddon (Rev. 16:13-14, 16). It is therefore one of the aims of the Islamic State to create such a chaotic and diabolical environment within Syria and Iraq that a coalition of western forces have no option, but to intervene, and be inexorably drawn into their cauldron of destruction and violence.]

The strategic aims of the Islamic State after the defeat of the Roman and Crusader army state that the victorious Islamic army will once again conquer Constantinople (Istanbul), to redeem it from corruption and apostasy. Whether they hope to make this city the capital of their end-time Islamist Caliphate is unclear; but after conquering Constantinople the Islamic Army will purportedly march on Rome, Italy, to raise the black flag of the Caliphate above the Vatican. Other stated targets of the terrorist army are: Jerusalem, the White House in Washington, the monarchy in Saudi Arabia, and the Ka’aba in Mecca (because of its iconism).[xv] Incidentally, the destruction of ancient monuments and artefacts already achieved by Islamic State in Nineveh, Nimrud, Hatra, Jonah’s Tomb and the Mosul Museum, is totally in accord with Wahhabi doctrine, which considers that the veneration of ancient shrines and pilgrimage sites is tantamount to idolatry, i.e., shirk.

So far, (according to the Islamic State’s propaganda), the progress made towards establishing a medieval Sunni Caliphate in Syria and Iraq in the heartland of ancient Babylonia, is in line with the prophecies contained in the Islamic Holy books, the Qur’an and Hadith; which, they claim, validate and authorise their activities. Subsequently, Islamic State’s initial triumphant progress through Syria and Iraq (as seen through the graphic images on the worldwide electronic media in 2014-2015), sent a powerful message to naïve young Muslim men and women; mobilising them to participate in the “heroic” history-making latter-day Caliphate, in preparation for the appearance of their long-awaited Imam al-Mahdi.

Thus in recent times, the breakdown or absence of law and order attributed to western invasions and the “Arab spring” movement have provided the perfect opportunity for radical Islamist factions to attract and persuade gullible young Muslims (particularly from Muslim ghettoes in Europe, Asia, and the Islamic nations cited in this study), to sacrifice their lives in the service of a resurgent Islamist Caliphate. Sunni Muslim youth are presently urged to volunteer for jihad and martyrdom by multiple radical and insurgent groups: Al-Qaeda and Taliban extremists in Pakistan and Afghanistan; by Islamic State and Jabhat Al-Nusra (Al-Qaeda) forces in Syria and Iraq (and elsewhere); plus a multitude of other lesser-known Sunni Islamist organizations based in the Middle East and Africa. All of these radical terrorist groups are fighting to remove western-leaning governments, abolish modernism and secularism, rid their territory of infidels, and force Sharia law on the population in order to create a radical latter-day global Caliphate. All this being done in the name of Allah, through the crazed and frenzied cry - “Allāhu Akbar” (Allah is greater).

Thus the “great authority” given by the dragon to the revived imperial beast (Islamic State) and its revitalised religious ideology, described in Revelation 13:2b, 4-5, 7, 12-16, can be traced back to the Salafi/Wahhabi Muslim scholars from Saudi Arabia and Egypt and their strictly literal medieval interpretations of the Qur’an. Subsequently, during the last few decades the acts of violence and destruction wreaked upon fellow Muslims, minority groups, cities and territories, purportedly in the name of Allah, by these so-called, self-styled paragons of Islamic virtue; have been carried out largely as a result of Salafi/Wahhabi teaching. The depraved activities of the Islamic State have been well-documented and need not be repeated here, but unquestionably, the bestial brutality and merciless barbarism born out of this medieval ideology has latterly been exposed as undeniably evil!

Even as Jesus said in Matthew 7:15-17, 20 -

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit… Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”

Thus for radicalised young Muslims who have been inveigled into the clutches of the Islamic State and deceived into believing that the west is at war with Islam; the “sword” and “war verses” subpoenaed from the Qur’an have provided the legitimacy for their response through militant and combative jihad by giving Qur’anic authority to the murder and beheading of perceived Muslim apostates, Christian captives and kafirs (unbelievers).[xvi]

[Note: In Revelation 20:4, similar gory mutilations and murderous beheadings of Christians prophesied for the latter-days, are attributed to the beast and the false prophet, and to the ancient city called “Babylon the Great” (personified as a religious harlot), who is “…drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.” (Rev. 17:6)  “And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.” (Rev. 18:24).]

Although western leaders and the secular media are unwilling to recognise that the Islamic State’s ideology is derived from the Qur’an, and reluctant to state that the driving force for the various Middle East terrorist organisations to operate is Islamism, there are very clear connections between what the Qur’an and Hadith state about Islamic end-times, and what the anarchic and militant jihadists are mimicking as they attempt to stamp Salafi/Wahhabi apocalyptic ideology and control over the troubled nations in the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Thus in our day, the Great City’s location in the wilderness and its classical ideology (Islamic supremacism and Sharia law), confirm that Mecca is representative of latter-day “Babylon” - responsible for the revival of the imperial neo-Caliphate called Islamic State. Mecca best fits the imagery and description given in Revelation 17:1-6 for the ultimate manifestation of the ancient Yahweh-opposing religious entity personified as “Babylon the Great”.
