Are there areas of scripture that God has given us that expose the details of what the rapture day itself may be like or what we may witness on that special day? Yes, I believe He has given us much more information concerning that day than you may have realized.
Scripture tells us that Satan is the prince of the power of the air. One then could conclude that he controls the atmosphere above earth or what is called heavens #1. So if he controls the air space above earth then it's only reasonable that we can expect a battle to ensue when the church tries to arise during the rapture event.
And isn't that the exact scenario that is described in Revelation 12 where it states that the dragon (Satan) was poised and ready to devour the man-child (the church) as soon as it was born / changed / resurrected /arises to meet Jesus in the clouds? Yes, it appears he will be poised and has plans to intercept us.
What then prevents Satan and his troops from intercepting us as we arise to meet the Lord in the air? Well, two things. As per scripture, Revelation 12 also states that war broke out in heaven......heavens 1, 2 and 3. (Heavens #1 being our atmosphere) War between Michael and his angels and the dragon and his angels. Was this battle depicted in Revelation 12 the result of God's forces trying to clear the way for our earthly departure and safe landing? I believe so...... but I also believe that much more protection was needed for our safe departure than the described win in Revelation 12 by Michael's forces...... for, as per scripture Jesus Himself had to be directly and amazingly involved.
Let me explain and to do so I have to refer to Isaiah 31. There in Isaiah 31 we see the battle for Jerusalem that pitted God's forces against Satan and Satan's princes and forces. The good guys so to speak were loosing that battle until Jesus Himself showed up to insure the win. It states in Isaiah 31 that the Satanic forces retreated only when they were faced with the “banner”. This “banner” that the Satanic forces couldn't look at and had to retreat from was also earlier described in Isaiah 11:10 as being.....the face of Jesus. Satan and his forces are completely repelled by...... the face of Jesus.
So fast forward back to the resurrection / rapture day. It appears that a great battle in the skies / heavens above takes place between Michael and his angels and Satan and his angels. The win is Michael's but may not be enough to completely insure our safety so an overlying event / phenomenon is also put into play. And that, as is expressed in Isaiah 11 will be “the banner”..... the face of Jesus …..positioned in the sky to repel any and all satanic troops.
Before leaving on our trip I posted to Doves an article concerning “The Sun of Righteousness” and that what I believe the bible portrays is..... the face of Jesus being substituted as the face of our sun in the sky on the day of the rapture. The duration of His face being substituted for the face of the sun being as long as it takes to gather His church from around the earth and safety take us to a place of refuge. Thus the bible wording and meaning of the strange phrase “The Sun of Righteousness”.
What else can we expect on the day of the rapture? Well, as I read the bible the prior resurrections / raptures and future resurrection / rapture events are all accompanied by great earthquakes. So I expect a world wide earthquake to also happen that day. I believe that this great earthquake and other bizarre celestial happenings and atmospheric conditions are described for us concerning that day in Revelation 6 with the opening of the sixth seal.
So for all of you that thought that it would just be “zap” we are out of here on the rapture day....... I beg to portray what I see happening which I believe will be the most heavenly choreographed protection event ever staged for the race of Adam and Eve. And I believe this event is teed up for this Pentecost season in early June. From other articles by many researchers many followers appear to be focused on the 3rd and 4th of June. Time will soon tell us if that's accurate.
If you follow the world news as I do, I am sure you feel that the whole world is teetering on the brink of a global meltdown. Whether it's news of war, news of weather, economic news, political news, false news, religious news, you name it......it can't get much more bizarre or evil.
If you do try to be a “watchman” and follow the daily happenings they will certainly leave you distressed and probably depressed as to what this world under Satan's influence and control (Ephesians 6:12) has come to.
As we the church try to get through what I believe are the last several weeks before the rapture (and some of us are under heavy spiritual attack) I think the wording from Psalm 37:7 might be in order where the condensed version indicates that we should....rest....wait patiently.....and.....do not fret.
