Earthquake in Australia - and the Rain keeps Falling

I woke up this morning, in Canberra, to the news that there had been an earthquake in a remote area north of Oodnadatta, in central Australia (close to the South Australian/ Northern Territory border).  The earthquake measured 6.1 - while this may not seem particularly high, this is the strongest earthquake in Australia in 15 years!  However, most would forget that a major earthquake (8.1) occurred offshore from Tasmania, but was felt throughout Tasmania, at 1.59 am on 24 December 2004 just two days before the Sumatran earthquake on 26 January 2004 (11.59 am AEDT am on 24 December) - see note and link below.  We need to be prayerful and alert - this earthquake in Australia occurred close to the 22 March 2012 window.  There may also be a pointer to Isaiah 61 - the whole chapter is powerful - I have presented just Isaiah 61:2 below:

2To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn.

Massive earthquake felt in Tasmania

Geoscience Australia said the quake, measuring 8.1 on the Richter Scale hit the Macquarie Rise, in the Pacific Ocean, at 1.59am yesterday.  The earthquake, which occurred half-way between Australia and Antarctica, was felt throughout Tasmania, seismologist Cvetan Sinadinovski said.  There is an article on the link between the Sumatran and other earthquakes, including the offshore Tasmanian earthquake – link below

And the Rain Keeps Falling!  Joel 3:18

And in that day, the mountains shall drip with fresh juice [of the grape] and the hills shall flow with milk; and all the brooks and riverbeds of Judah shall flow with water.

In recent days, and once again the Sunshine Coast (just north of Brisbane) has experienced massive rainfalls, with huge rainfall totals in just several hours (described as one in 100 years events).  There has been quite a lot of flash flooding and, in some cases, roads looked like rivers!  Interestingly, this rain occurred just before the Queensland State elections (on today, 24 March 2012).  Some doves may be interested in my letter of 11 February 2012 (link below) - before even more rain.  Almost everywhere in Australia has experienced rains.
