Mark: If there is a correlation, this will arrive to you after the fact.  But the point I would endeavor to make as a difference between The United States proposals and Japan's:  Japan actively insists on the division of the city of Jerusalem back to pre-1967 boundaries.  I think that is significant.  The US may want to divide the country, but Japan is after the country and Jerusalem.  So, double trouble.
