The book of
Revelation doesn't say anything about
the Temple of God in heaven with its
altar and the ark of the covenant seen
in Rev. 11:19 coming down from heaven in
New Jerusalem. Rev. 21:22 says, "And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it."
In my opinion, there
has to be a third temple built because 2
Thess. 2:3-4 says that "the son of
perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself
above all that is
called God, or that is
worshipped; so that
he as God sitteth in the temple of
God, shewing himself that he
is God." Also Matthew
24:15-16, Mark13:14, Daniel
11:31 & Daniel
12:11 show the
abomination of
desolation either being
set up or standing in
'the holy place' which
was always inside the
temple.
Then there also
will be a 4th temple with
its worship system &
offerings described in
Ezekiel chapters 40-48
which is the Millenium
temple during the Lord
Jesus' 1,000 year reign on
Earth. I believe the Lord
Jesus will build the
Millenium temple with the
help of others because
Zechariah 6:12,13 & 15
says," And
speak unto
him, saying, Thus
speaketh the
LORD of
hosts, saying, Behold
the man whose
name is The
BRANCH; and
he shall grow up out
of his place, and he
shall build the
temple of
the LORD: Even
he shall build the temple of
the LORD; and he shall bear the
glory, and
shall sit and rule upon
his throne; and he shall be a priest upon
his throne: and the counsel of
peace shall
be between them
both. And
they that
are far
off shall
come and
build in
the temple of the LORD, and
ye shall know that the LORD of
hosts hath
sent me
unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the
voice of
the LORD your God." I could be wrong but I
believe the Branch
is the Messiah, the
Lord Jesus
Christ. Here
is an article about
it at https://christholdfast.org/prophecies-in-the-bible/the-branch-building-the-temple-zechariah-612-13/
Then
we see New Jerusalem coming
down from heaven that has no
temple therein: for the Lord
God and the Lamb are the
temple of it (Rev. 21:22)
I
also agree with you and Fay
that there are only 1,260 days
or 42 months to the great
tribulation period described
in the book of Revelation, and
not a 7 year period.
