tell me what 'the abomination of
desolation' is given in Matthew - it's the
surrounding of Jerusalem by armies.
Not the AC declaring himself king in the
Temple."
"So,
no treaty, no breaking a treaty, no
abomination on the altar. And The
Revelation doesn't mention a 1260 day
period of relative 'peace and security' -
The Revelation is one disaster after the
other - the seven trumpets, the seven
bowls, earthquakes, pestilence, wars, the
AC reign where people are slaughtered - I
see no 1260 days of relative calm.
Nope - it's all 'hell, fire and
judgment'.
"And
I believe the Third Temple with the altar
of God and the arc of the covenant comes
down from Heaven in the New
Jerusalem. This Temple is not built
by human hands this time."

"You made such a powerful point
that there is no mention of a special 7 year
covenant in the Book of Revelation that the
AC breaks after 3.5 years.. There is no
mention of a man-made, rebuilt Temple.
Matthew 24:15 ) linked below) says the
abomination of desolation (in the end days)
will take place in 'the holy place - let the
reader understand'. In the link below are
the many translations re this verse. I
highly recommend a close look at all the
translations. If 'the holy place'
mentioned in this passage, were the newly
rebuilt Temple, one would think it would
be clearly stated. Plus - an AC
sanctioned and approved Temple would NOT be
called 'the holy place' by scripture."
MY
REPLY TO THE ABOVE STATEMENTS -- "The Holy
Place" is not the Temple itself although the
Temple is holy; 'the holy place' is inside
the Temple. There didn't need to be any
mention of a man-made rebuilt Temple in
Matthew 24:15 because all the Jewish people
knew that there was 'the holy place' and
'the most holy place' which were always
inside their Temple. According to the link

and it was either inside their

And of course, there has to be
a rebuilt temple but it will be built
by the Jewish people and not the
antichrist because Paul tells us in 2
Thess. 2:3-4 that "the son of
perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself
above all that is
called God, or that is
worshipped; so that
he as God sitteth in the temple of
God, shewing himself that he
is God."
'The Holy
Place' inside the temple is where the
abomination of desolation will stand
according to Matthew 24:15, & Mark
13:14 shown in the verses below. Daniel
11:31 below says they shall place the
abomination that maketh desolate
& Daniel12:11 below says the
abomination that maketh desolate is set
up. The word "abomination" is not
used in Luke 21:21, so it is not the
armies surrounding Jerusalem that are the
abomination of desolation although whether
you live in Judea outside of Jerusalem or
inside Jerusalem, you better flee to the
mountains when you see armies surrounding
Jerusalem or whether you are inside the
temple and see the abomination of
desolation being set up there, you better
run for your life.
Matthew 24:15-16, "When ye therefore shall
see the abomination of
desolation, spoken of by Daniel the
prophet, stand in the
holy place, (whoso readeth, let
him understand:) hen let
them which be in Judaea flee into the
mountains:"
Mark13:14, "But when ye
shall see the
abomination of
desolation, spoken of
by Daniel the
prophet, standing where it
ought not, (let
him that readeth understand,) then let
them that be
in Judaea flee to the
mountains:"
Luke 21:21, "And when ye
shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the
desolation thereof is
nigh. Then let
them which are in Judaea flee to the
mountains; and let
them which are in the
midst of it depart
out; and let not them
that are in the countries enter thereinto."
Daniel 11:31, "And
arms shall stand on
his part, and they shall pollute the
sanctuary of strength, and
shall take away the
daily sacrifice, and they
shall place the
abomination that
maketh desolate."
Daniel 12:11, ""And
from the time that the
daily sacrifice shall
be taken away, and
the abomination that
maketh desolate set
up, there shall
be a thousand two
hundred and ninety days."
