Hi Eliane B,You are absolutely correct in your understanding of the Sabbath Days and on how to calculate the correct Day of Pentecost. What we have to decide now is when exactly does the Jewish Year begin!I believe the Jewish New Year in 1948, started on the 11th of May [1st of Nisan].That's why 4 Days later, on the 14th May 1948, Israel declared their Independence.Israel's re-birth in 1948 and their recapture of Jerusalem in 1967 happened in the Month of Nisan, and not in the Month of Iyyar or Sivan. The Lord Himself is telling us, through these two events, when to start the Jewish New Year in these Last Days.We then need to count off the Sabbath Days as you describe in your article.Could you tell me which Date you think is the correct Day of the Lord's Ascension?I've got the Date of the Lord's Ascension down for the 10th of July 2011 [8th of Sivan], for this is the seventh Sabbath after First-fruits [20th May 2011/16th of Nisan]The 10th of July 2011 is also a possible Rapture Date! The Space Shuttle Atlantis is scheduled to launch around the 10th of July 2011!This correct Day of Pentecost will occur on the 30th of August 2011 [29th of Tammaz]We can still expect the Rapture this Summer!!!Ola.
