"TO LEWIS BRACKETT -
Did Eve Have Hundreds of Children?"
In
regards to your 6/22 post Did Eve
have hundreds of children? a
woman cannot get pregnant every 9 months
like you thought because of bleeding up
to 4-6 weeks after the baby is born
which means a pregnancy may take place
every 10 months. Adam lived to be
930 yrs. according to Genesis 5:4. So if
we assume that Eve also lived 930 years,
930 yrs. x 12 months in a yr. = 11,160
months divided by 10 months for every
child born = 1,160 children assuming Eve
did get pregnant and bare a child every
10 months. And twins appearing in 1 out
of 86 births = 13 because 1,160 divided
by 86 = 13. So that would be 1,173
children altogether.
