Dear Michelle,
Per your letter,
I've done a bit of research on a tall "thing" you
saw. In the Old City of Jerusalem, where the
Orthodox Jews live, there is a little center within
walking distance of the Wailing Wall but I do not
recall seeing a tall white "thing". There was
a center area, which may have held a
smaller type fountain. But
one area of Importance to all of Jerusalem, which is
in down-town Jerusalem and the center of the "on the
street stands" that people of all walks go
to make purchases of produce is on Ben Yehuda St.
Take a look at this and see if it stirs anything.
