"The details given for
the statue vision in Daniel 2 can
therefore only be regarded as a
general overview regarding the
fourth kingdom’s future mixture of
iron and clay, as foreign
influences invaded and permeated
the post-division stage of Europe
that had once been the Roman
Empire. Eventually both
parts would break up into multiple
kingdoms of disparity, being
partly strong and partly fragile,
but not at the same time. The
Western Roman Empire came to an
end in AD 476, and the Roman Imperial
insignia went east to
Constantinople until 1453! The toes were never
seen again!'
Daniel 2:33 shows us
the metallic image's legs of iron,
and his feet were part iron and part
of clay. Daniel 2:34-35 shows the
Lord Jesus Christ (the stone)
smiting the image on its feet of
iron and clay, and He breaks them
into pieces. He doesn't smite
one remaining foot of a leg that
wasn't cut off because He smites the
2 feet. So that means that the
2 feet and their toes are existing
at the time the Lord Jesus Christ
smites them and sets up His kingdom
on Earth.
Daniel 2:34-35, "
Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that
were of iron and clay, and brake them to
pieces. Then was the
iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the
gold, broken to
pieces together, and became like the
chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them:
and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth."
"Daniel 7 is
about 4 beast/empires
that will rise up, with
particular emphasis on the European
part of the 4th beast/Holy
Roman Empire (1st Reich),
German Empire (2nd Reich),
Nazi Germany (3rd Reich) and Inquisitions that
persecuted the saints of God
(Jews) during the 9th to
20th Century,
eventually causing the
Holocaust. The 4th beast
‘little horn’ and Germany died
in flames in 1945. Afterward,
the Jews received their kingdom
inheritance: the State of Israel
in 1948 (Dan. 7:27)."
As I understand it
from the Bible verses, this 4th
kingdom with the 2 feet and toes
of iron and clay are also
discussed in Daniel 2:40-45. In
fact Daniel 2:44-45 says, in the
days of these kings,(the kings who
are the 10 toes or 10 horns) the
God of heaven sets up His
kingdom.
Daniel 2:44-45, "And in the days of these kings shall the
God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall
never be
destroyed: and the
kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall
break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for
ever. Forasmuch as thou
sawest that the
stone was cut
out of the
mountain without hands, and that
it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the
silver, and the
gold; the great God hath made
known to the
king what shall come
to pass hereafter: and the
dream is certain, and the
interpretation thereof
sure."
And how I can
prove that the 10 toes on
the feet of the metallic
image are the 10 horns of
both Daniel 7 and Rev. 13 is
the fact that there are 10
horns in the 4th beast's
head and another horn (the
same little horn discussed
in Dan.7:7-8) "made war with
the saints and prevailed
against them until the
Ancient of days came and
judgment was given to the
saints of the most High; and
the time came that the
saints possessed the
kingdom" according to Daniel
7:20-22 which will be at the
Lord's Jesus Christ's 2nd
coming when He sets up His
kingdom on Earth. Then
in the next verses in Dan.
7:23-25 it tells about the
4th beast which is the 4th
kingdom on earth that
devours the whole earth and
the 10 horns out of this
kingdom are ten kings that
shall arise and another
shall arise after them (the
little horn who arises to
become a horn or king) and
he subdues 3 kings which are
the 3 that he plucked up by
the roots in Dan. 7:8.
Daniel 7:25 says, "And he shall
speak great words against the
most High, and
shall wear out the
saints of the
most High, and
think to
change times and
laws: and
they shall be given into
his hand until a time and
times and
the dividing of
time" meaning 1 yr. and
2 yrs. and 1/2 year
which is the same as 3
1/2 yrs. or the 42
months reign of the
Antichrist (in Rev.
13:5) who was the little
horn that rose to power
to become a horn which
is a king. Then
Daniel 7:26-27 says the
following:
Daniel
7:26-27, "But the
judgment shall
sit, and
they shall take away his
dominion, to
consume and
to destroy it unto the
end. And the
kingdom and
dominion, and
the greatness of
the kingdom under the
whole heaven, shall
be given to
the people of
the saints of
the most High, whose
kingdom is an
everlasting kingdom, and
all dominions shall
serve and
obey him."
Also even though
Nebuchadnezzar's dream of the
metallic image with feet and toes of
clay and iron Daniel 2:31-45 and
Daniel's dream in Daniel 7:1-14 were
50 years apart, they represent the
same 4 empires. The metals in the
Nebuchadnezzar's image are gold as
Babylonia Empire, silver as
Media-Persia Empire, brass as
Grecian Empire, iron legs as Roman
Empire that split in two between the
Holy Roman Empire on the West and
the Byzantine Empire in the East and
part clay & part iron feet and
toes of the final Roman Empire which
consists of 10 kings from the old
Roman Empire. And the 4 beasts
in Daniel 7:1-14 are the lion with
eagle wings which was the Babylonia
Empire, the 2nd beast was the bear
that raised itself on one side was
Media-Persian Empire with the raised
up side representing Persia that
took control of the kingdom after
Media, the leopard with 4 wings on
its back and 4 heads was the Grecian
Empire under Alexander the Great
whose 4 generals representing the
heads took over the Empire upon his
death, and the 4th beast with the 10
horns is the Final Roman Empire with
2 feet and toes part of clay and
part of iron which are the ten toes
although the Bible doesn't say there
are 10 toes, but it doesn't say that
some of the toes or leg are cut off
either. And the little horn
that comes up among the 10 horns is
the Antichrist.
