I would agree with you that Matthew 24:15-31, Mark 13: 14-27, and Luke 21:20-28 all describe the same time period, but there is no mention of the Gog-Magog war in those verses. The verses describe the Great Tribulation period of 1,260 which begins with the Antichrist's image (the abomination of desolation in Matt. 24:15-16, 21, Mark 13:14-16) being set up in the holy place in Jerusalem at which time those living in Judea are to flee to the mountains so that they are not beheaded for not worshipping the Antichrist (the Beast) and his image. In the Gog-Magog war, the armies never make it into the city of Jerusalem as they are turned back by the Lord and fall on the mountains of Israel according to Ezekiel chapter 39.
