The key to understanding is to read the following three Scriptures, and realize that all three are speaking of the VERY SAME EVENT in the Lord's Olivet Discourse :

 

Matthew 24:29   Mark 13:24   Luke 21:25    All three of these Scriptures describe the sun going dark, and the Lord returning to rapture His Church.

 

The Scriptures immediately prior to Matthew 24:29  , ie. Matthew 24:21-28 are describing the Gog-Magog War

 

The Scriptures immediately prior to Mark 13:24 , ie. Mark 13:19-23 are describing the Gog-Magog War

 

The Scriptures immediately prior to Luke 21:25 , ie. Luke 21:20-24 are describing the Gog-Magog War

 

SO, HERE YOU HAVE IT:

 

The Gog-Magog War precedes the rapture.
