Dear Gary B & Doves,

Some have stated that the Rapture is wholly Paul and that Jesus never predicted such an event. This is correct. The Old Testament prophets and John the Baptist knew nothing of it. Jesus, in His earthly ministry taught nothing about it. Nor did the Twelve. The resurrected, glorified Lord revealed this truth to Paul alone. I think that once your Scripture proof texts are put back into context you may be able to discern that:

1) John 10: 15-16 refers to Israel & Judah, not the Jews & the Gentiles and

2) all of Matthew 24 refers to the 2nd Coming
