JESUS REVEALED THE RAPTURE FIRST BEFORE PAUL REVEALED IT........

Jesus revealed the rapture to THE JEWS first before His crucifixion, then Paul revealed it to THE GENTILES after the crucifixion according to :

John 10:15-16 ( Jesus is speaking to the Jews before His crucifixion )

"As the Father knows Me , even so I know  the Father; and I lay down My life for the SHEEP; and OTHER SHEEP I HAVE which ARE NOT OF THIS FOLD,  THEM  ALSO I MUST BRING , and they shall HEAR MY  VOICE ; and THERE SHALL BE ONE FOLD,  and ONE SHEPHERD."   

The "OTHER SHEEP" which belong to Jesus, spoken of here, are His GENTILE Body of Christ Church "WHICH ARE NOT" of the Jewish "FOLD", but Jesus  "MUST BRING"  "THEM ALSO"  with Him to heaven at the resurrection / rapture of His "ONE FOLD " , ie. the  "ONE FOLD" Body of Christ Church AFTER the resurrection / rapture  of which Jesus is the "ONE  SHEPHERD." The "VOICE" of Jesus ,  spoken of in  this Scripture , will BE HEARD by BOTH FOLDS of His Body of Christ Church on the day of the resurrection / rapture according to :

1 Thessalonians 4:16 ( Paul is speaking to the Gentiles after the crucifixion )

"For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven WITH A SHOUT, WITH THE VOICE OF THE ARCHANGEL , and WITH THE TRUMPET OF GOD......."

Then Jesus AGAIN  spoke to THE JEWS about the resurrection / rapture in His Olivet Discourse the night  BEFORE He was crucified according to :

Matthew 24:27-31

"For as the lightning comes out of the East, and shines even unto the West so shall also THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE.......And He shall send HIS ANGELS with the great SOUND OF A TRUMPET ( the trumpet of God ) , and THEY SHALL GATHER TOGETHER  HIS ELECT ( ie. His Elect Body of Christ Church ) from the FOUR WINDS,  and from ONE END OF HEAVEN TO THE OTHER."

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT :

"HIS ELECT" which are "gathered from the four winds" of the earth are the living in Christ who will be raptured, ie. changed into immortal glorified bodies ready to ascend to meet the Lord in the air .

"HIS ELECT" which are "gathered from one end of heaven to the other" are the souls of the dead in Christ. who will be resurrected, ie. raised as immortal glorified bodies ready to ascend to meet the Lord in the air. 

Jesus said that BOTH groups of "HIS ELECT" , one from earth and one from heaven, will be "GATHERED TOGETHER"  by His angels on the day of the resurrection/ rapture.
