In reply to your 1/09 posts at THE THREE "WOES" OF THE SEVENTH SEAL (fivedoves.com) and THE "THIRD WOE" OF THE SEVENTH SEAL (fivedoves.com), after the 4th angel sounds the 4th trumpet and 1/3 of the sun, moon & stars are smitten and darkened in Rev. 8:12, Rev. 8:13 says, "And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!"

After the 5th angel sounds the trumpet, a star falls from heaven who opens the bottomless pit, and locusts came out of it.  Their job was to torment men five months who didn't have the seal of God in their forehead.  This is the first woe which is described in Rev. 9:1-12.  Rev. 9:12 says, "One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter."

The second woe is described in Rev. 9:13-21.  After the 6th angel sounds the trumpet, he is told to loose the four angels bound in the great river Euphrates which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month and a year to slay the third part of men.  And the number of the horsemen were 2,000,000.  

After the 7th angel sounds the trumpet, there were great voices in heaven, saying, the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ; and shall reign for ever and ever according to Rev. 11:15.  Rev. 11:18 says, "And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth." However, the word "woe" is not mentioned again until Rev. 12:12, "Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child."  However, the first two woes are directed against those who don't have the seal of God in their forehead and who have the mark of the Beast while the woe of Satan being cast down to the earth is directed against the woman (Israel) who flees into the wilderness for 1,260 days.

Also no where in the book of Revelation does it say that the Battle of Armageddon is the third woe of the 7th trumpet, and the Battle of Armageddon doesn't take place until the very end of the great tribulation period.  After the 7th trumpet is sounded, there are still 7 vials or bowls of God's wrath that have to be poured out, and they certainly could be considered as great woe to those who had taken the mark of the beast.  These 7 vials of God's wrath have to be poured out before the Battle of Armageddon takes place when the Lord Jesus reutrns.
