Thank you, Elisabeth for this lovely and encouraging article about Ella's testimony. It seems the Lord is showing her things, in her innocence, that are beyondher mother's ken:
"Ella's Wish for this Christmas
Ella is a 5 year old girl from Canada. Her parents are not particularly religious and her mother is quite puzzled by a couple of things Ella would like for Christmas this year.First, she would like all the people who have died to come out of their graves and live again. As it happens, her grandmother passed away this summer and Ella did see her body in the coffin. Her mother has assumed she is just missing grandma and wants her to come back.
Secondly, she wants her big castle. She has been seeing visions of this amazing castle which has two very different sides to it. Her mother assumed she wants a big dollhouse and said, Lets go online and see if we can find the right one. Ella replied, no mommy, you can't buy this kind of one on the computer because it's real and its way bigger than they could send to us in the mail. She has been having dreams of it but can't quite explain it.
Hope this encourages you as it did me."
Ella is spot on; the dead in Christ will indeed arise again, as they did before:
John 14:2 New King James Version (NKJV)Matthew 27:50-53New King James Version (NKJV)
50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.
51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, 52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17New King James Version (NKJV)
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:51-53New King James Version (NKJV)
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
As far as Ella's castle is concerned, Jesus also told his disciples:
2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
