Dear Donna & Doves,
I listed above all your proof texts that supposedly support the
Partial Rapture Theory. I remain unconvinced. Luke & Matthew
covered Jesus'ministry for sure. The myth is that Jesus and the
Twelve preached to everyone–Jew and Gentile. The Scriptures
indicate otherwise. Jesus commanded His disciples not to preach
to Gentiles (Matthew 10.5-6). Jesus Himself ministered to no
Gentiles with two exceptions: the Canaanite woman (Matthew
15.21-28) and the Roman centurion (Matthew 8.5-13; Luke 7.1-10).
His mission and ministry were Jewish (Romans 15.8-9). The Twelve
never had a ministry to Gentiles–even after Jesus’ resurrection.
This may be shocking but it is true. Nowhere in the Bible can
one find that the Twelve had an evangelistic ministry to
Gentiles. The 7 Churches in Revelation were Jewish Assemblies
and not Christian Churches under the Pauline Gospel.
It wasn't until after Steven's martyrdom that Jesus began to
phase in the Gospel of Grace through Paul. This Gospel is a
different Gospel than the Gospel of the Kingdom. Paul taught
100% saved & sealed unto the day of Redemption (Ephesians
4:30) by Grace alone, through Faith alone, in Christ alone (Acts
15:11) and not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians
2:8-9).
But for now, we are still in the Church age where grace abounds
for the salvation of sinners. (Acts 20.24; 1 Corinthians
15.1-4). Rightly divide and be careful not to conflate the 2
Gospels!
Keep Looking Up,
Mike P
