I'm truly sorry to hear that you are
suffering so. I have had a similar problem for the last
two years and tried all sorts of things to figure out what was
causing it.
My Stanford doctor and lab tests provided no
answers. After two years of suffering, unable to go
anywhere unless I took Immodium or a prescription medicine, I
got my answer. Just a few months ago -- with God's help
and a Bible Study group praying for me -- I finally figured it
out. Unfortunately for me the problem is I am a heavy
coffee drinker - at least two cups a day, or more in cold
weather. As my dad liked to say, "It's the brew that
exhilarates without inebriation."
Surprisingly enough, it turned out to be the
same cause of reoccurring UTIs. I went to Stanford
Medical doctors for a decade with UTIs before I finally
figured out that coffee, which is acidic, was substantially
upsetting my body's inner alkaline balance - more than I
realized.
So I found a Seychelle alkaline pH 20 filter
(available on the internet; see link below) and accompanying
pitcher to use in conjunction with my Waterwise 3200
distiller. Surprisingly, I now have no UTI problems as
long as I drink the distilled water run through the Seychelle
pH 20 filter system. It counters the acid from the
coffee perfectly, making it more alkaline, as long as I use
that water for drinking and to make my coffee, it keeps my
system in perfect pH 20 balance. I haven't had a UTI in
at least five years now. That for me is equivalent to a
much prayed for miracle!
My husband for years longed for a drink that
would satisfy his thirst. He's found it with the
distilled water (you can make your own or buy it in bottles
from the store) when it's run through Seychelle pH 20 filters
(not available in stores; only on the internet). He
likes it best when it is ice cold. He said he can't seem
to get enough of it. I love it too. We both carry
pitchers of it with ice wherever we go and keep some by our
bedside at night.
As for the coffee causing my other problem,
as long as I make my coffee -- using the Waterwise distilled/
filtered water mixed with the Seychelle pH 20 filter --
plus take one Immodium tablet with each cup of coffee -- I'm
fine. I can now go places and be more active than I
could before. I join my prayers with others for your
quick healing as well.
