"TO FAY & DOVES -- I HAVE BEEN SICK SINCE 3/15"

I want to thank you Fay & all the other Doves who are praying for the recovery of my left shoulder and upper arm.  Now I have another problem.

First of all, I had to cancel my appointment with an Orthopedic doctor that I had set up for the week following my emergency room visit of 3/13 as I became sick on 3/15, and have remained sick ever since. However, I did visit my primary care doctor on 3/20, and he ordered a blood test and stool test as I thought I may have reoccurring c-difficile. The test shows that I don't have that, but one blood test indicated that I may have celiac disease so I visited a gastroenterologist on 3/26. He has ordered more blood tests and stool tests that my primary care doctor hadn't previously ordered. So I went to the lab on 3/27 to get the blood work done, and to pick up another stool test kit which I returned to the lab on 3/28. So I probably won't get the results until sometime next week.  However, the gastroenterologist said that the only way he could be certain that I have celiac disease is to do an endoscopy by inserting a tube down my throat while I am under sedation to take a biopsy sample of the first part of the small intestine.  That won't be done until Tuesday, 4/15, at 2:30 pm as the doctor is booked up. Please pray that I don't get dizzy and fall and injure any other part of my body and that the doctor will finally get to the bottom of what is causing my diarrhea.

In reply to Fay's letter 3/23 post Donna Danna re Please Pray about my children helping me out, my son & daughter both work so they would only be available to help out on their days off. My daughter lives 45 minutes away & my son 1 hr. 20 minutes away besides him being overworked with excessive overtime hours because a bunch of co-workers use an FMLA on some Friday nights to not go to work.  Thank the Lord I am blessed with a friend who has been driving me to my doctor appointments, taking me grocery shopping, carrying my bags up the stairs, and doing my laundry for me.  I would really have been in a crisis situation if I injured both arms.  My left upper arm and shoulder are getting better as the swelling has gone down, and I can lift my left arm higher than I could before. It's going to take some time to get the full strength back in that arm.  Thank God I can shower, dress myself, wash dishes, make something to eat, etc. and I can get down my stairs by crossing my right arm over in front of me to grab the left railing and walk step by step to get down the stairs. (There is no right hand railing to go down the stairs.)  The problem is that I have to force myself to eat as I feel bloated, and then there is the daily diarrhea to deal with which is why I saw the doctor in the first place.  I honestly hope that these last stool tests reveals something that I can take medication for rather than my having celiac disease and having to eat a gluten free diet the rest of my life.
