"Ted Porter "EAR and Daniel's 70th Week....""

Hello John, Ted Porter, and Doves,

Ted Porter - So nice to hear from you!  You've been on John's site quite a long time also!!  We've got some 'old timers' still around!  John has blessed us with these many years of letters!

I really enjoy reading 'letters' - where people add their own thoughts, opinions, studies, research, personal stories, comments on news articles, etc..  Takes it to a personal level - this is how I see 'letters' to friends.  People kindly expressing themselves to others.

Thank you for your in depth, much studied and detailed reply!  You have studied this topic extensively!  Your other letter, I believe, on this topic, is dated 2008. So you have quite a history on this topic.

I do have a couple of comments -

Such as, how did the Gentiles end up in Jacob's Trouble? - I have believed that Jacob's Trouble is the Tribulation Period and it's for the holy people - to come back to G-d.

And you wrote we've been in this time period for 21 years.  How long is this to go on?  You wrote, "We appear to be in the 21 year period of time known as Jacob's Troubles."

And you've written about the importance of 42 - 2015 is long past - so is 42 still important?

I had thought that June 7, 1967 had some prophetic significance number-wise in figuring all of this out.  This was a very important date.  As I have read the works of others who see 1967 in Daniel's timeline also.  But so many present day time lines have come and gone.  Adding sets of days or years or Jubilees, etc - not seeing anything...yet.

I will default to Jesus' comment when He stopped and wept before his "triumphal" entry - and His ministry was 3.5 or 1260 days long - that's not by chance - that is where the 70th week is split in half. imo.  What He said and did outside Jerusalem actually divides that 70th Week of Daniel for me.  Like a 'prophetic pause' in the timeline because THEY missed Him.  That's how I see this, unless something else comes up and I am moved in a different direction.....

Thank you again for your in depth studies on this topic!  Lots of insight.

I am hoping that a group effort will shine more light on this topic - I know Isaac Newton committed a big part of his life to 'cracking the code' in Daniel - I remember reading that he believed he was so intelligent that this was what he was meant to do - don't know if that's true or not, but he definitely studied the book of Daniel.  And gave us much to think about....he was indeed brilliant!

Blessings!
