After the devastating floods earlier in the year Queensland has been hit with a gigantic cyclone called Yasi.

 

The radio was telling us that its name came from a young man in Fiji who named it after the Sandalwood tree.

 

The cyclone crossed the northern Queensland Coast at Mission Beach at midnight of 2/2/2011.

 

Yes, 2/2/2011 is day #33.
