Which of the 6 purposes listed in Daniel 9:24 are not fulfilled? Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. We know that Daniel fulfilled the command to seal up the vision and the prophecy. We know that God anointed Jesus, the most Holy, when John the Baptist, baptized Jesus (Acts10:13 and Luke 4:18). So, we know 2 of 6 purposes have been fulfilled. I believe the other 4 purposes were fulfilled by Jesus on the day HE was crucified. Therefore, I believe that all 70 weeks have been already fulfilled. If I am correct, the days, months and years in Daniel 12 and Revelation are not related to the fulfilled 70-week prophecy. I believe they apply to the last days before Jesus returns. What is your understanding? Thank you, Garry B.
