DOME OF THE ROCK TIME MARKER
‘And from the time the Daily
Sacrifice is abolished and the Abomination of Desolation set
up, there will be 1,290 days. Blessed is he who waits and
reaches the end of the 1,335 days. But as for you, go on your
way until the end. You will rest and will arise to your
inheritance at the end of the days’. -Daniel 12:11-13
The purpose of this study is to
consider and overlay the Prophecy of Daniel’s various day
counts, 1260, 1290 and 1335. If one converts the days to equal
years, what would that look like since the Dome of the Rock was
begun and finished? Why the Dome of the Rock? There is a theory
in the End Times Community that asserts that the Muslim Shrine
is a sort of Time Marker or Place Holder that could be or is the
key to unlocking the prophetic timeline that will lead to when
the Church Age is to end.
And then subsequently, based on a pre-Tribulation Rapture interpretation, when the Rapture is to occur. This event in turn will lead to the revealing of who the AntiChrist will be that will eventually set up the Abomination of Desolation on the Temple Mount, etc. As the years and days go by, and technology advances, one is being more convinced that the ‘Abomination’ that will be set-up will be some sort of A.I. Idol that will have reached some sort of Technological Singularity.
For context, it is believed that the coming Tribulation Period, also known as Jacob’s Trouble will be 7 Years. And that the 2 halves will be equal days of 1260. However, from the midpoint, there are 2 day counts that are additionally factored into the timeline. Also consider or have in mind that the day counts are presumed to be Biblical Years. This means that they are derived from 30 days/month. So, one must factor this day count discrepancy as most presume to use the Gregorian Calendar. However, just using the day counts exclusively will not interfere with the calendar discrepancies.

Daniel 12:11–12 gives the timeline
for how 2 additional day counts of 30 days and then 45 days are
tagged-on to the 2nd half of the 1260 days or the 42 months. now
realize that these are biblical years, thus 30 day months. so,
this is to lay out the day counts from the 2nd half of the 7
year Tribulation Period. then that being the case, consider the
following day counts.
1260 Days (1st Half of
Tribulation + 1260 Days (2nd Half of Tribulation) = 2520 Days
Total
1260 Days (2nd Half of Tribulation + 30 Days) = 1290 Days = 2550 Days Total
1260 Days (2nd Half of Tribulation + 30 Days) + 45 Days = 1335 Days = 2595 Days Total
It is about the Daily Sacrifices
When it comes to the calculation of when the Tribulation Period is to begin, there are many theories, suppositions and conjecture occurring. Some people believe that it occurs immediately upon the Rapture happening. Others say it will begin when the ‘Peace Treaty’ is to be ratified, like by the United Nations, etc.

1- Based on one’s research, one is more convinced that the ‘Covenant’ that will be made with the Many will be the reinstitution of the Law of Moses.
2- And that the start of the 7-Year Tribulation Period will begin once the 1st Daily Sacrifice will be offered on the rebuilt 3rd Temple.

Based on one’s interpretation of the Prophecy of Daniel, the core factor is the Daily Sacrifices. This event is what the day counts are hinged upon. So, with this context, one can now apply the day-to-year pattern and consider the day counts from certain dates or historical events. In this case, let us consider the building of the Dome of the Rock. And to be clear, one does not subscribe to the theory that the Temple of Solomon, nor that of Zerubbabel that later was refurbished by Herod stood over the Dome of the Rock.
One is of the belief that the true
spot is based on the Northern Location Theory. One has
corresponded the exact coordinates using the Belt Stars of Orion
to triangulate the Temple Mount and show that the Dome of the
Tablets or Spirits is where the Holy of Holies once stood and
will again. The location of the Dome of the Rock is outside the
perimeter of the Temples of YHVH and is what will be given to
the Gentiles, the Outer Court, etc.
What is rather interesting is that
pertaining to the 2nd Temple, it is a historical point that in
-586 BC, the Babylonians destroyed the 2nd Temple. This ended
the Daily Sacrifice spoken about in the Prophecy of Daniel. And?
If one takes the 2nd day out of the 1260 days and just factor
the 30 extra days, for a total of 2550 days, then some have used
this calculus to directly associate it with when the Dome of the
Rock was built. Construction of the Dome of the Rock began in
685 AD and was completed in 691 AD. It was commissioned by the
Umayyad Caliph Abd al-Malik.

Jerusalem was besieged, starting
from -589 BC to -587 BC, marking the final phase of Judah's
revolts against Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar II, King of the
Neo-Babylonian Empire, besieged Jerusalem for approximately 30
months. The city ultimately fell in the Summer of -587 BC on Av
9. The Babylonians systematically destroyed Jerusalem and razed
Solomon's Temple. What is rather interesting, is that if one
starts the 1260 day to year count from 685, then it starts off
with the end of World War 2. Then from the ‘midpoint’ of the
7-Year Construction of the Dome of the Rock, that is when the
modern iteration of Israel was ‘reborn’ in a day.
In the Year 2025
So, the 1260 days became prophetic years and a countdown. What if one continues to factor the other Daniel Prophecy of 1335 days? By adding the 1335 Years to when the Dome of the Rock was completed, excluding End Date is 2025 AD.

1260 Day for a Year
+ 688 AD (Midst of Dome of Rock) = 1948
That was the year the Dome of the
Rock was completed on the Temple Mount. Note that although this
building, which is a Muslim Shrine and not a Mosque, is thought
to be the ‘Abomination that makes Desolate’ by many End Times
students, it is not.
690 AD (Dome of Rock finish
building) End Year excluded + 1335 days to years = 2025
One would only venture to say that
it is a foreshadowing and a prophetic type for sure. It is not
because, in one’s estimation, the Dome of the Rock is not where
the Temple of Solomon and Zerubbel stood nor will during the
7-Year Tribulation Period. Now the Dome of the Rock is
Anti-Christ because it does have the inscription on its top
outer perimeter, in Arabic that deny that Jesus is the Son of
GOD in the Gospel of John.
So, what makes these day counts
taken from the Prophecy of Daniel is that they appear to be
multilayered and dimension across timelines. What follows next
is one’s inference, prophetically of who a Rapture
interpretation could be occurring and perhaps encoded in this
Prophecy of Daniel. How so? Consider the breakdown of the
segment.

1- It deals with the Daily
Sacrifices. What if they are to be reinitiated once the
Rapture event occurs with the re-institution of the Mosaic
Law, as being the Covenant of the Many?
2- It deals with an Abomination that causes Desolation. Will this be the AntiChrist revealed only after the Church Age ends?
3- There is a Blessing that awaits those that reach an ‘End’. Is that the Blessed Hope and the End of the Church Age Harvest?
4- There is a Rest and an Inheritance to be attained as a Reward. Is this to be given out at the Bema Seat of Christ?
5- There is a ‘Rising’ that Daniel is called to. Will this be the Resurrection-Rapture event that further states later that such people like Daniel will shine like the Stars for turning many to righteousness?
If the 1335 day to year factor and
pattern is of any significance, then it is signaling or
identifying that 2025 is when there will be a ‘Blessing’ and a
theme of the Abomination revealed, and a resting and rising.
Thus, this timeline would then make the 2 halves of the 1260
days of the entire Tribulation Period have the Daily Sacrifices
ceased at the midpoint per the Prophecy of Daniel.
It would be Passover 2029. And 1260
days from Passover on March 31/April 1, 2029 is October 18,
2025. It is the Sabbath of Beginnings and 1 of 2 possible start
dates for when the Daily Sacrifices are to begin and initiate
the day count for the Tribulation Period. One presumes that the
Rapture event occurs before this time and date.
