I fully understand the level of discouragement some here and many
elsewhere are going through this morning. However, Jesus is still on
His way. I remember reading that when the Jews began returning to
Judea in the 1900s, many churches began paying attention. When the
Zionist conference of 1800 happened, proclaiming that all Jews should
return to Israel, many pastors preached that the end of the age had
begun. It was thought by so many that it would only be 40 years before
Jesus returned. Many thought that Hitler was the AntiChrist, and that
Italian leader was the False Prophet.  They thought that WW2 was
Armageddon.

  So, we just don't know for sure. In my lifetime there have been
several "sure things," which have come and gone.  However, as
dedicated believers, we press on toward the mark, the high calling,
despite everything.
