   In the 1840's the head of the Army Corp of Engineers, Humphries,
surveyed the Mississippi river delta. Subsequent surveys came up with
the same result. It wasn't until the great revisionists began
rewriting all the textbooks around 1900 that the following was
conveniently ignored because it did not fit their perverse new
ideological mantra of uniformitarianism.
    The size and depth of soil deposits making up the Mississippi
river delta, compared to the annual soil deposits, show the river has
only been flowing for about 4500 years. The same can be said of all of
the world's other river deltas. This correlates almost exactly with
the timing of the Biblical account of Noah's flood, which is why the
secularists wanted to bury the evidence.
   If the river had been flowing for millions of years, the "Gulf of
America" >  would not exist >
