"Follow-up on 153 and 234"

Doves,

A little follow-up on my previous post: https://www.fivedoves.com/letters/aug2025/josua831-1.htm

The number 153 has the following divisors: 1, 3, 9, 17, 51, 153.
The sum of divisors is 234.
The next prime number after 234 is.. (...drumroll....) : 239

And another little nugget: The next prime number after 153 is 157.
157 is the 37th prime number. Mathematically, the number 37 allows you to do a nice trick:

(1+1+1) x 37 = 111
(2+2+2) x 37 = 222
(3+3+3) x 37 = 333
(4+4+4) x 37 = 444
(5+5+5) x 37 = 555
(6+6+6) x 37 = 666
(7+7+7) x 37 = 777
(8+8+8) x 37 = 888
(9+9+9) x 37 = 999

Once you know this, you can immediately make some calculations. E.g. when you see the numbers 24 and 37, you know that 24 = 8+8+8, so 24x37 = 888

And finally, 157 simply reminds me of Strong's 1577: ekklésia :-)

Maranatha! YbiC, Josua
