John (7 Sep 2025)
"What is going to happen?"

Hi John and doves,

I was pondering what is going to happen...

What will it be like?
Paul is about the church.
Also revelation first few chapters.
Wheras gospels may be to jewish people.

and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead — Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.
1 Thessalonians 1:10 HCSB

Suffering. Yes. For preaching the gospel.

On the contrary, after we had previously suffered, and we were treated outrageously in Philippi, as you know, we were emboldened by our God to speak the gospel of God to you in spite of great opposition.
1 Thessalonians 2:2 HCSB

We cared so much for you that we were pleased to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.
1 Thessalonians 2:8 HCSB

Walk

we encouraged, comforted, and implored each one of you to walk worthy of God, who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.
1 Thessalonians 2:12 HCSB

Jesus coming

For who is our hope or joy or crown of boasting in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? Is it not you?  For you are our glory and joy!
1 Thessalonians 2:19‭-‬20 HCSB

so that no one will be shaken by these persecutions. For you yourselves know that we are appointed to this.
1 Thessalonians 3:3 HCSB

Pers

In fact, when we were with you, we told you previously that we were going to suffer persecution, and as you know, it happened.
1 Thessalonians 3:4 HCSB

How can we thank God for you in return for all the joy we experience before our God because of you,
1 Thessalonians 3:9 HCSB

Joy

Blameless

May He make your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints. Amen.
1 Thessalonians 3:13 HCSB

For this is God’s will, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality,
1 Thessalonians 4:3 HCSB

This means one must not transgress against and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is an avenger of all these offenses, as we also previously told and warned you. For God has not called us to impurity but to sanctification.
1 Thessalonians 4:6‭-‬7 HCSB

Work

to seek to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, so that you may walk properly  in the presence of outsiders and not be dependent on anyone.
1 Thessalonians 4:11‭-‬12 HCSB

Since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, in the same way God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep through Jesus.  For we say this to you by a revelation from the Lord:  We who are still alive at the Lord’s coming will certainly have no advantage over those who have fallen asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout,  with the archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will always be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:14‭-‬17 HCSB

About the times and the seasons: Brothers, you do not need anything to be written to you. For you yourselves know very well that the Day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. When they say, “Peace and security,” then sudden destruction comes on them, like labor pains come on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers, are not in the dark, for this day to overtake you like a thief.
1 Thessalonians 5:1‭-‬4 HCSB

But since we belong to the day, we must be serious and put the armor of faith and love on our chests, and put on a helmet of the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,  who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him.  Therefore encourage one another and build each other up as you are already doing.
1 Thessalonians 5:8‭-‬11 HCSB

Warn

And we exhort you, brothers: warn those who are irresponsible, comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient with everyone.
1 Thessalonians 5:14 HCSB

Rejoice always! Pray constantly. Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Don’t stifle the Spirit.
1 Thessalonians 5:16‭-‬19 HCSB

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely. And may your spirit, soul, and body be kept sound and blameless for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
1 Thessalonians 5:23‭-‬24 HCSB

Persecution now

Therefore, we ourselves boast about you among God’s churches — about your endurance and faith in all the persecutions and afflictions you endure.
2 Thessalonians 1:4 HCSB

It is a clear evidence of God’s righteous judgment that you will be counted worthy of God’s kingdom, for which you also are suffering,  since it is righteous for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you and to reward with rest you who are afflicted, along with us. This will take place at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with His powerful angels,
2 Thessalonians 1:5‭-‬7 HCSB

taking vengeance with flaming fire on those who don’t know God and on those who don’t obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.  These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction from the Lord’s presence and from His glorious strength  in that day when He comes to be glorified by His saints and to be admired by all those who have believed, because our testimony among you was believed.
2 Thessalonians 1:8‭-‬10 HCSB

Jesus

so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified by you, and you by Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Thessalonians 1:12 HCSB

Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to Him: We ask you, brothers, not to be easily upset in mind or troubled, either by a spirit or by a message or by a letter as if from us, alleging that the Day of the Lord  has come.  Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way. For that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction. He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits in God’s sanctuary, publicizing that he himself is God. Don’t you remember that when I was still with you I told you about this? And you know what currently restrains him, so that he will be revealed in his time.  For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work, but the one now restraining will do so until he is out of the way, and then the lawless one will be revealed. The Lord Jesus will destroy him with the breath of His mouth and will bring him to nothing with the brightness of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is based on Satan’s working, with all kinds of false miracles, signs, and wonders,
2 Thessalonians 2:1‭-‬9 HCSB

For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe what is false, so that all will be condemned — those who did not believe the truth but enjoyed unrighteousness.
2 Thessalonians 2:11‭-‬12 HCSB

Wow

But we must always thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God has chosen you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and through belief in the truth.
2 Thessalonians 2:13 HCSB

He called you to this through our gospel, so that you might obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions you were taught, either by our message or by our letter. May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal encouragement and good hope by grace, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good work and word.
2 Thessalonians 2:14‭-‬17 HCSB

Work

In fact, when we were with you, this is what we commanded you: “If anyone isn’t willing to work, he should not eat.”
2 Thessalonians 3:10 HCSB

So
If the above is all you have to go on, do you see ahead of us the rapture or tribulation?
Joyfully i see the rapture.
May the Lord Jesus be praised.
