There is a prophecy podcast where they put forth that the 10 kings & the antichrist arise out of what had been the Holy Roman Empire.

However, wouldn't that mean that the ten toes that Nebuchadnezzar dreamed about, would all be on only the foot of one leg, rather than both?

i.e. only from the western leg of the old Roman Empire (Europe), but not from the eastern leg (North Africa and the Middle East).

Daniel 2:42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

  43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

  44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Also, aren't those ten toes that Daniel said will be kings at the endtime?

Which would possibly mean that they are the same 10 kings represented by the 10 horns?

Daniel 7:23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

  24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
