Hello John and Doves,

 

Recently I came across Pastor Charles Lawson's Youtube video on the Sept 23 Rapture date.  I wanted to hear what this pastor thinks.

 

I enjoyed hearing his message.  He's not looking for a 'date' of the Rapture.  But he's 'all in' for Sept 23/24 but if it passes, Keep looking up!  His message is we are very close to the start of the Tribulation and Second Coming.

 

Pastor Lawson believes the United States is being prepared for something.  Something is coming.

Pastor Lawson said this is probably one of his most important messages.

 

He said there is a Pastor in South Africa who said he had a vision of Jesus on the throne.  Jesus told him He would come back to the Earth on September 23, 24.

 

A lot of people get real excited with stuff like this.  Lawson said Jesus may come before September 23 or after September 24.  

 

You can't say He is coming or that He's not coming on a certain date.  No one knows.

 

He talked about the Feast Days and the two added that are not in the scripture.  (He must be referring to Feast of New Wine and Feast of New Oil)  Feast of Trumpets has a trumpet blast - so this looks good to many people for the Rapture.  He said he won't tell you it can't be Feast of Trumpets.

 

The Rapture of the Church is a mystery.  It can take place at any moment.

 

There is an enormous amount of interest in the Rapture now - especially because of this South African Pastor.

 

Rosh Hashanah is on September 23, 24. On this same day, the U.N. will meet to demand a two-state solution.  Also, there was a blood moon on March 14, 2025 and then one on September 7, 2025.  Also, there is talk of Virgo and the alignment of stars - this happened 8 years ago, and it's happening now and 8 means "new beginning'.  All of these things are happening about the same time.  That's why people are excited.

 

He said he's not going to say the Rapture will not happen on Sept 23, 24.  But he does not like dates.

 

Pastor Lawson gave a few warnings:

 

The Great Disappointment of 1844.  William Miller drew a lot of people (they were referred to as 'Millerites') in for his October 22, 1844 for the Second Coming.  Over 100,000 people had gathered together to see the return of the Lord.  Some of the people sold their property, gave away everything they had.  When it passed, this brought much emotional distress.  Some folks left the Church.  But from it the Seven Day Adventist Movement started.  Every time someone sets a date for the Second Coming of Christ...something comes of it.  Miller died five years after this.

 

Watch Tower Society, Jehovah Witnesses - were notorious date setters.  1925 was a huge date.  They keep redoing the date.  Eventually they took the position that the Second Coming had already happened.  It's an invisible presence of the Lord.

 

Edgar Whisenant declared Jesus would return in 1988.  He adjusted his calculations several times.

 

Harold Camping, 1994, he predicted the end of the world on Sept 6, 1994.  He redid his date several times. 

 

All of these dates didn't come to fruition. 

 

The fruit of missed dates for the Second Coming (he didn't say missed dates for the Rapture):   He said people are disappointed and their faith is shaken.  It brings public ridicule.  The secular news sites will say 'they told us so'.  This is an opportunity for Satan.  The Watch Tower began to change the meaning of their dates after Jesus didn't appear - they said Jesus came invisibly - He was here in a different way, not like you expected and He empowered the Jehovah Witnesses.

 

What if they say, He came back on the September 23, but not the way you thought He would?  We are told how Jesus will come - 'in like manner' as He ascended - the Church will meet the Lord in the air.  But the day after, THEY may spin it - because we are getting closer to the Tribulation and Second Advent.

 

And this peace deal may fit right in with this.  God always warns and prepares people.

 

Pastor Lawson said that IF the Rapture doesn't happen on Sept 23/24 - watch for what comes out of this.  Because this is one of the biggest buzzes I've ever seen.  Because something is going to happen.

 

He said Charlie Kirk was murdered today.  That's why Hell was created - for murderers.  President Trump was shot last year; he could have died just like Mr. Kirk.  He is so sorry for Charlie's family - widow and children.

 

Pastor Lawson said that this is the point he is trying to make:  Things are happening to let you know that this country is ready for something.  It is being prepared for something.  

 

If we don't go in the Rapture on Sept 23rd - be careful.  Matthew 24:36 says that no man knows that day or hour.  Mathew 24:26 says 'behold he is in the desert, behold he is in the secret chamber' - this is confusing to people - look out for this.  Matthew 25:13 watch therefore for you don't know the day or hour the Son of Man cometh.

 

God will bring His Son back and He will catch up the bride to be with His son.

 

He said he is excited about September 23.  But be prepared if it passes.  Don't get worked up so that you're let down after these days past.

 

Keep looking for the return of the Lord!  He prayed that Jesus doesn't have to wait til the 23rd - come right now!

I believe that Pastor Lawson is right about "this country is being prepared for something."

It feels like something shifted when Charlie Kirk was killed.  I pray his wife and children's grieving will be short lived and they will be united soon!  I pray we will all be united soon in the 'catching up'.

 

Like Pastor Lawson, I don't believe the timing of things is coincidental.

 

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
