Hi John and Doves,

I was praying and asking God about the rapture and why the seeming long wait.

I was pointed to this verse.

And I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 sealed from every tribe of the Israelites:
Revelation 7:4 HCSB

Then going back a bit

“Don’t harm the earth or the sea or the trees until we seal the slaves of our God on their foreheads. ”
Revelation 7:3 HCSB

And back a bit more

They cried out with a loud voice: “Lord, the One who is holy and true, how long until You judge and avenge our blood from those who live on the earth? ” So a white robe was given to each of them, and they were told to rest a little while longer until the number would be completed of their fellow slaves and their brothers, who were going to be killed just as they had been.

Which helped me to see that God has a plan and he is busy with his plan. Gathering those he loves into his kingdom.
