"at what point?"

As time goes on, and the US continues to mover further and further away from Jesus, at what point will all choices be too much to choose?
For years, as two parties have dominated the political scene, I have often been told to vote for "the lesser of two evils".
I realize that it was said to me, so that I would not be too discouraged that no candidates were perfect.
Or that I was not voting for a pastor.
And that makes sense.

However, when things eventually get so bad, if there is still a system of elections, will there ever be no real choice?
What if, eventually, that even the "lesser of two evils", is far more evil than any "greater of two evils", at this time?
Then what should be done?
Will there be other parties at that time, which may have candidates, which may not be as evil as the main two parties?
Or will our friends and relatives try to discourage us from 3rd party voting, write-in-candidates, or from not voting?
Will they try to convince us that any of those three things will be tantamount to "throwing our vote away"?

At that time, when all choices will be unacceptable to us, or to our acquaintances, what will we do?
Whatever we do at that time, if that time comes before the blessed hope, will we have to give an account to Jesus, for the choice we make?
Will he be satisfied for our voting for the "lesser of two evils"?
Or will he say to us that even the lesser of two evils had become too evil?
Or has he never been satisfied with our voting for evil, whether the lesser or the greater?
Will Jesus be angry with us, if we threw away our vote, by writing in a name, or by not voting?
Will people lose rewards for doing that?
