When mockery from fellow Arab nations is published in the world press, Hezbollah's humiliation is complete. Hezbollah has been content to play cat and mouse with Israel - causing enough damage and trauma to keep over 100,000 Israeli farmers from returning to their homes in Judea and Samaria. Yet holding back enough so as not to be accused of provoking a full on regional war.
Well, Israel has seen right through that tactic and will not stand for it. Israel has only begun to up her game. If Iran/Hezbollah think that beepers were the final salvo in Israel's arsenal, they would be wise to think again. Hezbollah/Iran have suffered enormous humiliation over this but their choices are limited. Retaliate in full, which will cause Israel to obliterate them or back off into the shadow to lick their wounds. They are now between a rock and a hard place.
I have read some very clever comments over the last few days. "Evil makes you stupid" is a profound one. There is also the blood-thirsty, "From the liver to the knee, the grim bleeper will find thee".
