Keep looking up!
Lots to be watching for - the
comet (Comet C/2023 A3, see my other letter today), the
Orionid meteor shower, the Draconid meteor shower, and the
Earth's gravity will be latching on to a passing asteroid
and it will orbit like a mini moon around Earth for 57 days
(this isn't naked eye visible though).
Asteroid 2024 PT5 -
Earth's Mini Moon:
On Sunday night, September
28, 2024, "an asteroid is expected to be hooked
into Earth's orbit tomorrow night, acting as a second 'tiny
moon' for the next two months."
The asteroid is 2024 PT5; it's
part of a large group of Near-Earth orbit asteroids and
comets. This asteroid will be about 2.8 million miles
from Earth. It will orbit Earth in a "horseshoe shape
between September 29 to November 25.
The asteroid will eventually dislodge from orbit and return
to a heliocentric orbit, which is an orbit around the
sun. It will then not visit Earth again until 2055."
"It will take professional
equipment to lay eyes on the asteroid."
Orionid Meteor Shower:
This shower will be active
between September 26 to November 22 and will peak on
October 20 - 21 between midnight and dawn...The
Orionid meteor shower is produced when Earth passes through
the debris of ice and dust left behind from Comet 1P/Halley,
more commonly known as Halley's Comet." These meteors
will be visible in both the Northern and Southern
Hemispheres." The radiant of the Orionids is
the constellation of Orion.
Orion means "Coming As
Light". "Orion is one of the several pictures in the
heavens which speak of a mighty Person who is to come to
earth, who will triumph over the great enemy of mankind, who
will take away sin and its disastrous effects and who will
bring the blessing and righteousness...God promised
that one would come "called the seed of the woman who will
crush the head of the Serpent."
Orion represents the coming Prince
of Light...He holds a great club in one hand and in the
other hand the skin of a slain lion. This shows His
victory over the 'roaring lion' who is Satan. At the feet of
mighty Prince Orion is the serpent. One foot
of the Prince is raised to crush its head. The
bright start that marks that food is called Rigeel, which
means The Foot That Crushes. The star of the other
foot is Saiph, which means Bruises, the very word that God
used in speaking to the Serpent: "you shall bruise
Him (the Seed) on the heel." God's Voice in

Draconid Metero Shower:
"The early days of October are
expected to usher in an upcoming meteor shower as it reaches
its peak." The Dracronids' parent comet is
21P/Giacobini-Zinner - discovered in 1900.
"This meteor shower's
radiant point in the night sky will be...in the head of
the constellation Draco the Dragon."
"God used the stars for prophetic
revelation (Genesis 1:14) "Let them be for signs and
for seasons (moed - something fixed or appointed) and for
days and for years...God designed the stars with the purpose
of using them prophetically to signify specific historical
incidents at chosen times which would come to pass as the
plan of salvation was unfolded."
"The grand truth is that
God made the stars for a witness to mankind of a coming
Redeemer who would save fallen man from the clutches of
the enemy, destroy the enemy and his power, and finally
establish a kingdom of righteousness and light....God's

These signs in the Heavens point
to Genesis 3:15: "And I will put enmity
between you and the woman (make you enemies - open
hostility), and between your seed and her seed; He shall
bruise your head and you shall bruise His heal."
The
names of the stars and constellations are important
in the story of Salvation, of Jesus
Christ. Are we
being shown in the Heavens how close we are to
what God has declared in the Heavens?
I believe what we are seeing now, what is happening
now, is pointing us to the soon return of the Lion
of Judah. We are approaching the end of the
story in the Heavens.
