"RE: EAR: 09.17.23: Mystery, Babylon"

I wrote a little to you, last week, concerning this.
For over 30 years, I have considered the possibility of the antichrist being from an islamic background.
However, when it comes to pinning the tail on Babylon, I've been more cautious.
If Jesus would have returned sometime within 3 centuries, I think that imperial Rome would have been the best candidate.
But as time went on, imperial Rome looked less and less like the best candidate.
If Jesus would have returned at the time of the Reformation, I think that religious Rome would have been the best candidate.
Even a number of the Reformers thought that way, about Mystery, Babylon, in their day.
But as time went on, religious Rome looks less and less like the best candidate, she is so much less than she was 500 years ago.
Many years back, I was taught that it will be a composite mix, of catholicism, hinduism, islam, and judaism.
But since the antichrist will blaspheme all that is called God, and the world will worship him, I don't agree with the Babylon mix.
At the moment, the US seems to fit a number of the identifiers, except it is no longer a slave nation, unless human trafficking fits.
As to Mecca, currently, they are not the consumer capital of the world,
but rather, Saudi Arabia takes in the wealth of the world, because of oil.
Also, they are currently not really the center of export of fornication and and sorcery.
However, things are changing, there, rapidly.
They are making moves to have peace with Israel.
They are turning their economy into a world tier, rather than simply money for oil.
They are building a very futuristic, strange, large city.
The prince, who is acting like the king, thinks very differently than the traditional house of Saud.
So, if Jesus tarries another 50 years, then yes, I can see them fitting the bill better than most others.
