Hi John and Doves,
Just like America has been suffering with a spate of shoplifters for awhile, it has reached UK shores. Almost every day brings another story of shoplifters casually stealing from stores and the police do nothing about it. To begin with, the bigger stores began placing security locks on products etc. Yet we were still treated to daily stories and photos of thieves brazenly stealing. Nothing happens for nothing, Doves. This is allowed to happen in order to enable stricter and stricter controls.
In the article, Tesco supermarket has introduced shopping trollies that jam on brakes in order for security to check your trolley. The article has some interesting and creepy details. My theory is that they are bringing in this Orwellian security now (because of the shoplifting - which the police do nothing about -, you understand) for an emerging bigger crisis. What happens when food and essential supplies are rationed? What happens if your debit card is suddenly halted - remotely - by the bank? What happens if you have failed to comply with another covid jab, digital/vaccine passport, or social credit score system? Are people going to willingly starve?
It is glaringly obvious that they are allowing this brazen shoplifting to keep happening, in order to impose draconian security measures. They have justified it (caused it, more like) to enable them to treat the public like criminals. In a supermarket !!!!
I don't how much the public will take before rising up in protest. This latest measure is outrageous.
Please come, LORD Jesus.
