I have heard this UNESCO meeting referred to as a 'peace' meeting as well. It is an extended UNESCO meeting and runs from September 10th to 25th. Interesting timing!

Reading between the lines, this appears to be a massive forward step in the 'normalisation' deal between Israel and Saudi Arabia. This so-called 'normalisation deal' has a lot of hidden depths and many people - myself included - have very bad vibes about it. Whether Saudi Arabia only plays lip service to the Palestinian issue - there is sure to be concessions regarding Israel giving up certain things. There have been media rumours about Saudi Arabia taking control of the policing of the Temple Mount - in place of Jordan.
