"Gino (20 Aug 2023) ‘Mystery Babylon’"

Hi John and Doves,

Re: Gino (20 Aug 2023) ‘Mystery Babylon’

Hi Gino, if you divide up the population of the World into its religious groups… of the world’s approx. 7.6 billion inhabitants you will find that approx. one third:  31.1% or 2.38 billion identify as Christian, while within this Christian populace there are two main divisions: roughly half being Catholic, and the other half being Protestant/Orthodox, so about 15% each. Roman Catholicism no longer has weapons of war or military power in the world to enforce the exercises described in Revelation 13, 17 and 18, relating to the Beast and the False Prophet and Mystery, Babylon the Great!

During the last 100 years Christian belief has slowly drifted away from Europe, to Sub-Saharan Africa, the Asia-Pacific region and the Americas. While Christianity has now spread to the uttermost parts of the earth, it has declined in the Middle-East/North Africa region where it began, and where Islam has taken over. Interesting statistics are recorded in the two urls below. A recent article in The Telegraph stated that Church of England regular adherence has—in less than 30 years—fallen from 1.1 million in 1995, to barely over 500,000 today, since COVID lockdowns.

I have been considering recently the passage in Rev. 14:14–20 regarding the two harvests that will be reaped when the earth is judged to be RIPE — On the basis of how Christianity is actually faring throughout the World; and the present decade’s rise in lawlessness and criminal activity in formerly Christian countries; it cannot be too long before God decides that the harvest of good and evil must be reaped, before the good harvest decreases, and the evil harvest increases.  Cf. Matt. 13:25–40.

However, Islam is the second largest belief system with 1.9 billion, or 24.9% of the world’s population, and it is the fastest growing religion at present, even outstripping the world’s population growth. It is expected that by 2070 Islam will be the largest religion in the world, especially in the countries found within Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe… Muslim world - Wikipedia  It is Islam/Koran that rules over the Middle Eastern and North African Kings of the earth today, and Muslim countries have plenty of weapons (given them by the Western nations) with which to enforce an end time agenda on any Christian living within their borders.

This brings me to ask why you and Donna Danna aren’t examining Islam and Mecca with regard to identifying the (religious) city called MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, and its expanding influence in the world.  Islam has been growing exponentially since AD 700’s—during the New Testament (Revelation) age—through the Islamic Conquest, and through their victory over the Byzantine/Eastern Roman territories, and finally Constantinople in 1453. The Turkic Sultan—Mehmed, the conqueror— called himself Kayser-i Rum (Roman Caesar), and saw himself as heir to the Roman Empire . Mehmed II - Ottoman Empire, Conqueror, Sultan | Britannica

In the New Testament era and modern age, Islamism has been granted power to make war with the saints and to overcome them (recently through Al Qaeda and ISIS in Iraq & Syria: 2014–2017), while Islamism with its Holy Book, the Koran, have gained authority over every tribe, tongue, and nation, on all the continents of the World. (Rev. 13:2, 7)

My book The Beast and Babylon – the Revival of Radical Islam at Beast and Babylon.com explains how and why Islam— and in particular—Mecca should be regarded as the great city called Mystery Babylon that features in the end times in Revelation 14:8 and 17:1–18:24. As explained in one of my advertising pamphlets, old Mecca now fits the description of this great city, which is out-of-bounds to all Christians:

Parts one to three of the book consist of a comprehensive study of prophetic Biblical texts that align with Middle Eastern history, which forecast the re-appearance of two entities described as the (leopard/bear/lion) Beast—viz., a latter-day empire based in the Middle East; and its incendiary leader the False Prophet—who propagates the religious ideology that energizes it. These two entities fulfil the two offices—political and religious—required for an Islamic Caliphate to function on its territory. This 8th Beast/Islamist Empire is prophetically destined to be revived in greater Syria, Iraq/Syria etc., (being the location of the former leopard/bear/lion empires of Dan. 7:4–6, 12; cf.  Rev.13:2) long after the 7th empire, Islamic (Ottoman) Empire that conquered Byzantium met its demise in 1922–1924 (Rev. 13:3, 17:9–11). One hundred years have passed in the interim since the Ottoman empire was, and is not, (1924>to now), and yet it is once again reviving… (Rev. 17:8, 11).

Part four (of this updated American edition) researches and explores the rejuvenation of an ancient God-opposing political/religious/economic system that is characterized by an entity called Babylon the Great, which is destined to become world-renowned in the latter-days.  Because Revelation 17–18 repeatedly describes latter-day Babylon as a great city, this imagery has been applied to the recently modernized and hugely expanded ancient city of Mecca—also called the Mother of Cities (viz., harlot daughter cities with Mosques)—which rules over peoples, nations, and tongues, and lies in the wilderness of Saudi Arabia, surrounded by seven mountains. (Cf. Rev. 17:1–11)

It is toward Mecca, the religious capital of Islam, that multitudes of Muslims must bow in prayer, five times a day!  Secular sources confirm the vast construction occurring in the desert city of Mecca, and reveal the monolithic seven-towered Makkah Royal Clock Tower that looms over the diminutive Kaaba—within the Great Mosque—like a gigantic Babylonian ziggurat! In similar style, the central clock tower contains a celestial observatory, topped by an enormous gold covered crescent moon (pagan idolatrous image) that contains the World’s highest Islamic prayer room!

Have a look at the photos here mecca - Bing images  Could not Mecca be called a great (religious) city?

This is all about money, thanks to the required (at least once in a life-time Hajj [annual pilgrimage to Mecca] to visit the Kaaba!) Rev. 18:3, 7–20.

It seems to me that the destruction of the Great Harlot City (by her associated, but opposing elements… Shia Iran?? ) is the final act of vengeance approved by God before the marriage of the Lamb occurs, after His wife has made herself ready! (Rev. 17:16–18; 19:1–8).

Quote: Iran's Religious Influence Spreading throughout the United States :: Gatestone Institute

“A core ideology in Iran's constitution is to export the regime's radical doctrines beyond its borders until all nations are ruled under its Shia Islamist system of governance. To advance that goal in Western nations, the regime uses undercover agents. As the letter indicates:

"This appears to be part of a network of regime-sponsored mosques acting as agents for a foreign adversary. The radical ideology being promoted by this regime preaches hatred not only towards Jews, Christians, and Westerners but also to Sunni Muslims and fellow Shi'a Muslims who do not accept the regime's ideology."

I look forward to your comments…
