WHY I BELIEVE THE RAPTURE WILL BE IN SEPTEMBER 2022

My testimony:

On April 28, 1988, as I sat in my car after dropping my wife off at her work place, I was listening to the radio. I always listen to Christian radio. An interview was going on with a nuclear scientist named Edgar Whisenant. He was saying that he could prove that the rapture of the Church was going to take place in 1988 on the Jewish Feast of Trumpets. He explained to his listeners that Jesus Christ had already fulfilled the first three of the Jewish sacred feasts, that is Passover, Unleavened Bread, and First Fruits. Passover as the sacrificial Lamb of God; Unleavened Bread as the dead Savior in the tomb; and First Fruits as the resurrected and risen Savior. He further emphasized that the Feast of Pentecost was fulfilled by the Holy Spirit at the birth of the Church of Jesus Christ on Pentecost 33 A. D. The next Feast to be fulfilled must therefore be Trumpets, or Jewish Rosh Hoshana, or New Year. That year, 1988 would see the Jewish New Year on September 12 and 13.

I was “told” instantly that this man was from God, that the message was true and real, and that I was to prepare for it. So, I endorsed Edgar's work from that moment on, anxiously awaiting the date of September 12/13, 1988. (I knew nothing of the Song of Solomon at this point). Brother Edgar was obviously a very devout Christian man. He authored a book titled “88 Reasons Why the Rapture will be in 1988” and produced millions of copies which went virtually world wide over the months in 1988 leading up to September 12/13. He made sure that 345,000 copies went free to ministers all over the world. He was the scientist that calculated the cycles of the moon for the purpose of the moon landings. He was the one that defined the solar year as being exactly 365.24219 days long. He knew more about the ancient Jewish sacred festivals than any man alive at the time, I think. I was totally in because I was “told” to be totally in by the Spirit of God.

When September 11-13 came and went, the disappointment was great. He was vilified, mocked, scorned and beaten almost to death by his own son because his son felt that he was entitled to some of the millions spent on booklets that went worldwide. Edgar kept not one dime of the money, but put all of it into more booklets. After this, Edgar produced further books,, but to no avail all the way up to 1990 or 1991, I forget which year. Finally in an interview on the Phil Donahue Show, he told Phil that all his critics were under God's judgment for unbelief and that they were in danger of going to hell in a handbasket. This ended his ministry and later, in 1997 his life as well at age 69.

I never gave up the belief that 1988 was a heavenly visitation and message. I just could not understand why it did not happen, as it seemed so right. I lost the confidences of my daughters and son, and I was also vilified and mocked, and shunned by members of my church, but God called me when I was 21 years old, and now at 56 years of age, I was not about to turn back from my calling. So I spent virtually all of my free time for years later on prophecy and trying to understand. I was given a dear Christian man as constant companion in this trek.

It was not until I heard of Gigi in 1994, a lady from California who was receiving messages from our Lord that I perked up again. I had an intimate knowledge of Edgar's work and was lookiing for some message. After Gigi, I found Barbara Frances and Dan,, and then the Five Doves site. As I read what fellow Christians were saying on Five Doves, I ran into others. One of these later ones was Brother Calvin Montgomery, a dear Christian brother and prophecy friend. He provided a posting site for my ideas and what God revealed to me. I ran into the Sparrow's Barn, and a lovely Christian woman named Erin Vreeland, who received dreams from the Lord. She passed on to me a letter sent to me from the Lord, which gave me great uplift and encouragement. This came July 6, 2013.

It was in 2014 or so that I understood the prophetic significance of the Song of Solomon. I did all I could to share this beautiful stage play with other Christians. When the Lord revealed to me that the Song tied all the Church ages and the parables of Matthew 13, plus the parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25 together prophetically, I was stunned, but a new understanding opened up.

Then I realized that the lone major spot in the Song of Solomon that I did not quite understand was the rapture of 1988. In that chapter or act 5 of the play, the Lord came to His beloved, tried to get in, but she was asleep. She roused enough to know that He was there, but when she opened the door, He had gone away. The watchmen looked all over the city for Him, but instead found her and beat her up, even taking away her veil. This describes what happened to us in 1988, when the rapture did not take place as expected, after we had told all we could that it would.

Then came what I think is the “gift” that the Lord, in His letter to me indicated. It was the revelation of the formla to determine His birth, I think. When this became clear (over time), it then provided the basis for revelation of another startling thing. It provided, in the full count of His days, a tie in from the Feast of Trumpets in 1988 to the Feast of Trumpets in 2022. The significance is clear. The two Feasts of Trumpets are connected from 1988 to 2022 by the exact number of days of the earthly life of Jesus Christ, that is 12,432 days conception to death, thus, to me, indicating that the event of 1988 will reoccur in 2022, because the Bride (Philadelphis) is wide awake this time, and daily searching for the rapture.

I hope you understand all of this. It is of utmost importance and, to me, it is the sign of His return. And it ties 1988 to 2022 with a once in forever 12,432 days, the very days of the life of our Savior.

It could be that there will be 3 days added to the Feast of Trumpets, these days representing the 3 days in the tomb. If so, The resurrection of the dead in Christ and our change would copy His glorious resurrection and occur either September 28, 29, or 30 September.

No man knows the day or hour because there are 2 days on earth at all times and 24 time zones.
