Hi Caspar,

I believe that the reference to the end of the world in Matthew 24:3 is referring to the end of Satan's rule over this world until the Second Coming of Jesus who then  casts Satan into the bottomless pit. 

The Pure Word Bible reads ;

Matthew 24:3

"When shall these things be, and what is the sign of your coming, and the end of Satan's world ?"

2 Corinthians 4:4

"In whom THE GOD OF THIS WORLD has blinded the minds of them which believe not...."
